The AMBA Burns supper was held on 6 July 2012 within the premises of Lodge St James Newton-upon-Ayr No. 125 under the Chairmanship of the President Jack Rogers. Past president Sam Wales addressed the Haggis with Jim Scott as the Henchman, both of whom were piped in to a quick step by Piper Gavin Barrie.

Reading were given by Cochrane Gourlay on Tam o’ Shanter, Jim Gourlay who recited Epistle to a Young Frien’ and Ian Wotherspoon who recited Epistle to William Simpson.
Songs for the evening were performed by John McAtee, Andrew MacFarlane and Alex McGhee whilst Ian Wotherspoon gave a very witty vote of thanks. Along with the Brethren of 125 who provided the venue, the Cronies expressed their appreciation of their efforts for this evening.
