The Ayrshire Masonic Burns Association (AMBA) was founded on 3 July 2006 at the first AGM held in Tarbolton Masonic Hall, the purpose being to promote the Works of Scotland's National Bard by like minded individuals. It consists of four meetings per annum, an Annual Burns Supper held in July, an Annual Outing in April to places of interest connected to the Bard, an Annual Quoiting Match held in August and an Annual Sponsored Walk held in July.
During the past five years we have raised money reaching four figures via our sponsored walk and donated it to various good causes.
The Organisation is open to any man whether he is a Freemason or not. Every member is encouraged to further his interest in Robert Burns.
We welcome new members at any time. If you would like to join AMBA, just come along to any of our meetings or contact the Secretary for further details.
