On 16 November, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Irvine St. Andrew No.149 where RWM Bro. David Smith extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, the RWM welcomed a Deputation from The Mother Lodge of Scotland headed By RWM Bro. Charles Hughes. RWM Bro. Charles Hughes and his Office-bearers then conferred a FC degree on one candidate.

On 15 November RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. Andrew No.126 where RWM Bro. Craig Hamilton extended a warm welcome. A business meeting was held after which all present adjourned to the Main Function Suite for a talk by Bro. Gordon Michie PM Lodge Earl Haig No. 1260 PSPGM Fife and Kinross and Head of Fundraising at Poppy Scotland. After the talk RWM Bro. Craig Hanilton presented a Cheque to Bro. Gordon Michie.

On 9 November, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Prestwick No.1060 where RWM Bro. Alex Whannel extended a warm welcome. The RWM and his Office-bearers conferred an EA degree on one candidate. RWPGM Designate Bro. William Steel spoke on behalf of PGLA. He finished by stating that he had invited Bros. Robert Stewart, Stephen McConnachie and Stewart Cruickshank to be SPGMs and formally invited Bro. Jim Bell PM to be DPGM. Bro. Jim accepted which was warmly applauded by the Brethren.

On 7 November, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Burns St. Mary No.505 where RWM Bro. Ivie Rennie welcomed the Deputation. RWM Bro. Rennie then welcomed the 3 other Valley Masters, Bro. Ronnie Paton RWM Lodge Loudoun (Kilwinning) No.51, Bro. Arthur Clark Lodge St. Peter No. 331 and Bro. Rodney Pirrie RWM Lodge Darvel No. 971.The 3 Valley Masters and RWM Bro. Ivie Rennie then conferred an EA degree on one Candidate.

On Tuesday 31 October 2017 RWM Bro. Steven Travers welcomed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, headed by Immediate Past Provincial Grand Master Bro. Chalmers, into Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169.

The Autumn Divine Service was held in Galston Parish Church on 29 October 2017. The Service was conducted by Revd Kristina Hine and PGLA Chaplain Bro. Revd Stephen Clipston. Readings were given by IPPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers, The RWPGM Bro. Robert Little and GLA Chaplain Bro. Revd Stephen Clipston. Following a very uplifting Service, tea and refreshments were provided by Lodge St. Peter No.331 in the Barr Castle Social Club.

On 27October the Annual Communication of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire was held in the Masonic Temple of Lodge Neptune Kilwinning No.442. RWPGM Bro. Robert Little opened the meeting with reference to Past Masters of the Province who had passed to the grand lodge above. RWPGM Bro. Robert Little then welcomed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Kilwinning headed by RWPGM of Kilwinning Bro. T. Wilson Aitken. After completing the Business, including the Installation of elective Office-bearers by SPGM Bro. Stephen McConnachie and PSPGM Bro. Samuel Dickson and the voting for Grand Committee, trophies for the various sporting events were presented by PPGM Adam Cunningham as follows:- Golf - PM Robert Green Lodge St. John Maybole No.11. The Bowling Trophy was won by a team from Lodge Montgomerie Kilwinning No, 624. The Clay Pigeon Shooting was collected by RWM Bro. David Smith Lodge St. Andrew No.149. The Fishing Competition was won by Bro. Craig Hamilton PM Lodge St. Andrew No.126. Bro John Muir of Lodge Burns Dundonald No.1759 then presented a cheque for £1000 from the sale of tokens.

On 25 October DPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, into Lodge Royal Blues No.399 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. Stewart Gray welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, a demonstration of the Working Tools and The Final Charges for the first and Second Degrees were give. DPGM Bro. William Steel then carried out the business of the Annual PGLA visitation and granted Lodge Royal Blues a clear minute.

On 24 October RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from The Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Loudoun (Kilwinning) No.51 where RWM Bro. Ronnie Paton extended a warm welcome to the Deputation. After completion of the Lodge business, RWM Bro. Paton welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Darvel No.971 headed by RWM Bro. Rodney Pirrie. RWM Bro. Rodney Pirrie and his Office-bearers then conferred a FC degree on one candidate.

On 23 October SPGM Bro. James Bell headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, into Lodge St. John Royal Arch No.320 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. David Thomson welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, a FC degree was conferred on one candidates by the Office-bearers of 320. SPGM Bro. James Bell then carried out the business of the Annual PGLA Visitation and granted Lodge 320 a clear minute.

On 19 October RWPGM Bro. Robert Little accompanied by PG Bard Bro. Stewart Cruickshank visited Lodge Prestwick No.1060 where RWM Bro. Alexander Whannel extended a warm welcome. RWM Bro. Whannel then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Wallace St. Hugh No.1212 headed by RWM Bro. Charles Mitchell. RWM Bro. Charles Mitchell and his Office-bearers then conferred an EA Degree on one candidate.

On 17 October SPGM Bro. James Bell headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, into Lodge St. John (Kilwinning) No. 173 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. Andrew Anderson welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, an EA degree was conferred on one candidate by the RWM and Office-bearers of 173. SPGM Bro. James Bell then carried out the business of the Annual PGLA Visitation and granted Lodge St. John a clear minute.

On 12 October SPGM Bro. Samuel Peden headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, into Lodge Prestwick No.1060,for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. Alexander Whannel welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, a FC degree was conferred on one candidate by the WJW and other Office-bearers. SPGM Bro. Samuel Peden then carried out the business of the Annual PGLA Visitation and granted Lodge 1060 a clear minute.

On 11 October DPGM Bro. William Steel and PPGM Bro. Adam Cunningham visited Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 where RWM Bro. Allan Brown extended a warm welcome. On completion of the Lodge business RWM Bro. Allan Brown then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St. Peter No.331, headed by IPM Bro. Raymond Kerr. IPM Bro. Raymond Kerr and his Office-bearers then conferred a Mark degree on one well known substitute candidate, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little.

On 10 October RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, into Lodge Royal Arch No. 314 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. William Burns welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, an EA degree was conferred on one candidate by the Office-Bearers of 314. On completion of the degree, RWM Bro. William Burns asked RWPGM Robert Little to present a Distinguished Members Certificate to Bro. David A. McLean PM. RWM Bro. William Burns then conferred Honorary Membership of 314 on RWPGM Bro. Robert Little. RWPGM Bro. Robert Little then carried out the business of the Annual PGLA visitation and granted Lodge Royal Arch a clear minute. Bro John Dunlop celebrated his 80th Birthday.

On 6 October SPGM Bro. Robert Stewart headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. Peter No. 331 where RWM Bro. Arthur Clark extended a warm welcome. Also in the Deputation was Bro. Moises Gomez, Past Grand Historian of the Grand Lodge of the State of New Jersey U.S.A. Bro. Moises Gomez then spoke about “ Remembering his 911 Experience”. After the meeting, at the Barr Castle Social Club Bro. Moises answered Questions.

On 5 October RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Troon Navigation No.86 where RWM Bro. Scott Govan extended a warm welcome. Also in the Deputation was Bro. Moses Gomez, Past Grand Historian of the Grand Lodge of the State of New Jersey U.S.A. On completion of the Lodge business RWM Bro. Scott Govan and Office-bearers then conferred a MM degree on one candidate.

At Lodge St. James Tarbolton (Kilwinning) No.135 on 29 September, RWM Bro. Peter Brown welcomed two Deputations into the Lodge. The first was from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, headed by RWPGM Bro. Robert Little, the second from Lodge Prestwick No.1060, headed by RWM Bro. Alexander Whannel. After receiving the mallet, RWM Bro. Whannel and his Office-bearers conferred a Mark Degree on one candidate. RWM Bro. Peter Brown then conferred Honorary Membership of the Lodge on Bro. John Trousdale PM 1060.

On 26 September at Lodge St. James Newton-upon-Ayr No.125, RWM Bro. Daniel Dunlop welcomed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire. On this occasion RWPGM Bro. Robert Little arranged for Provincial Grand Junior Warden to head the Deputation into his Mother Lodge. On completion of the Lodge Business, WSW Bro. Gordon Reid and his team conferred a MM degree on one candidate.

On 22 September RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. James Tarbolton (Kilwinning) No.135 where RWM Bro. Peter Brown extended a warm welcome. Included in the Deputation was Bro. Magnus Engstrom, Depute Provincial Grand Master of the Province of Östergötland in Sweden. Other Lodges represented were St. Jacob (St. John) the Golden Griffin (St. Andrew) and the Golden Circle. A large number of visitors witnessed a FC degree by Lodge St. Barchan No.156.

On 19 September RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. Clement (Kilwinning) Kilmarnock No.202 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. William McLaughlin welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, a FC degree was conferred on two candidates by the Office-bearers of 202. RWPGM Bro. Robert Little then carried out the business of the Annual PGLA visitation and granted Lodge St. Clement a clear minute.

At Lodge St. James Tarbolton (Kilwinning) No.135 on 15 September, RWM Bro. Peter Brown welcomed two Deputations into the Lodge. The first was from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, headed by DPGM Bro. William Steel, the second from Lodge St. John No.497, headed by RWM Bro. David McPheators. After receiving the mallet, RWM David McPheators and his Office-bearers conferred a FC Degree on one candidate. RWM Bro. Peter Brown then conferred Honorary Membership of the Lodge on Bro. Sam Peden PM.

On 14 September RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the PGLA into Lodge Dunlop Caledonia No.1408 where RWM Bro. Johnny Gauld extended a warm welcome. The Deputation was enhanced with two Brethren from PGL Lanarkshire Middle Ward and one Brother from PGL Glasgow. RWM Bro. Johnny Gauld then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St. Peter No.331, headed by IPM Bro. Raymond Kerr. After a memorial for Bro. John C. Taylor PM, a Mark degree was conferred by RWM Bro. Raymond Kerr and his Office-bearers on one Candidate.

On 13 September RWM Bro. Allan Brown, welcomed SPGM Bro. James Bell into Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204. On completion of the Lodge business a Deputation from Lodge Troon Navigation No.86 headed by RWM Scott Govan was welcomed in to the Lodge. RWM Bro. Scott and his Office-bearers then conferred a third degree on one candidate.

On 11 September SPGM Bro. Samuel Peden headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge St. James Newton-upon-Ayr No.125, for the Annual Visitation. Acting RWM Bro. Graeme Dunn welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, a 2nd degree was conferred on one candidate by the RWM and Office-Bearers. SPGM Bro. Samuel Peden then carried out the business of the Annual Visitation and granted Lodge 125 a clear minute. SPGM Bro. Samuel Peden then presented a 50 year Diploma to Bro. James Sturgeon PM and a 60 year Diploma to Bro. Andrew Cardie PM.

On 7 September SPGM Bro. James Bell headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, into Lodge St. Marnock No.109 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. Robert Murray welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, a 2nd degree was conferred on one candidate by the RWM and Office-bearers. SPGM Bro. James Bell then carried out the business of the Annual PGLA visitation and granted Lodge 109 a clear minute.

On 4 September RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Coila St. Andrew No.1334, where RWM Bro. Clark McCrindle extended a warm welcome. On completion of the Lodge business RWM Bro. Clark McCrindle welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Wallace St. Hugh No.1212 headed by RWM Bro. Charles Mitchell. RWM Bro. Charles Mitchell and his Office-bearers then conferred a Mark degree on one candidate.

On completion of the Lodge business RWM Bro. Peter Brown and Office-bearers then conferred a EA degree on one candidate.

On 31 August DPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Stinchar Valley No.1705 where RWM Bro. Fred Christie extended a warm welcome. Prior to the entry of the Provincial Deputation, a Deputation from Lodge Beith St. John's Kilwinning No.157 headed by RWM Bro. John Wilson was received into the Lodge to claim the Traveling Mallet. On completion of the Lodge business Bro. Alan Stevenson delivered his talk on the Ettrick Shepherd.

On 30 August, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. Thomas No.201 where RWM Bro. William Todd extended a warm welcome. The Lodge business was completed followed by the Nomination and Election of the Office-bearers for the coming year.

On 28 August RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. John Royal Arch No.320 where acting RWM Bro. Colin Hannah PM extended a warm welcome. On completion of the Lodge business the Lodge Office-bearers conferred the EA degree on one candidate.

On 23 August RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. Maurs No.1398 where RWM Bro. Paul Devlin extended a warm welcome. All though this was a business meeting with no degree carried out, a pleasant evening was had by all.

On 5 August Lodge St. John (Kilwinning) No.173 celebrated 250 years of Freemasonry in Largs. The day started with a parade to St. John’s Church of Scotland where Rev. Ian S. Currie conducted a service to celebrate the anniversary. RWM Bro. Andrew Anderson extended a warm welcome to all after arriving back at the Lodge. The rededication ceremony was conducted by the Most Worshipful Grand Master Mason Bro. Charles I.R. Wolrige Gordon of Esslemont, assisted by Depute Grand Master Bro. Ramsay McGhee, Grand Director of Ceremonies Bro. William H Gauld, and Senior Grand Warden Bro. Andrew Paterson Past Senior Grand Chaplain. Along with RWPGM Bro. Robert Little, the MWGMM unveiled a plaque to mark the occasion. After the ceremony was complete, the MWGMM Bro. Charles I. R. Wolrige Gordon of Esslemont presented a 50 year diploma to IPPGM PGL Kilwinning, Bro. David Bloomfield MM Lodge St. John (Kilwinning) No.173. Bro. Alan Buntain PM Treasurer conferred Honorary Membership of 173 on RWPGM Bro. Robert Little PGLA, RWPGM Bro. T. Wilson Aitken PGLK and Grand Director of Ceremonies Bro. William Gauld. After the Lodge was closed, a celebration dinner was held in the Willowbank Hotel where the usual toasts were observed.

On 4 August DPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. Peter No.331 where RWM Bro. Arthur Clark extended a warm welcome. RWM Bro. Arthur Clark then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Stinchar Valley No.1705 headed by RWM Bro. Fred Christie. The Deputation had arrived to claim the Travelling Mallet. The RWM and Office-bearers of Lodge St. Peter then conferred the FC degree.

A Deputation from PGLA visited Lodge Neptune Kilwinning No.442 on 3 August. The Deputation, headed by the RWPGM Bro. Robert Little, was warmly welcomed by RWM Bro. Duncan Stanners. RWM Bro. Duncan Stanners then proceeded to confer the MM degree on one candidate. He was assisted by Bro. William Steel PM Lodge Loudoun (Kilwinning) No.51. After the conclusion of the main business, Honorary Membership was conferred upon the RWPGM Bro. Robert Little and on Bro. William Steel PM.
On 29 July RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Royal Blues No.399 where RWM Bro. Stewart Gray extended a warm welcome. RWM Stewart Gray then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St. Peter No. 331, headed by RWM Bro. Arthur Clark who on behalf of the Deputation claimed the Travelling Mallet. RWM Bro. Stewart Gray then welcomed a Deputation of Reigning Masters from Lodges 126, 204, 565, 1398 and 1662, who along with RWM Stewart Gray and the Office bearers of 399 conferred a FC degree on one candidate, After the meeting Lodge Royal Blues supplied an enjoyable buffet.

On 24 July RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. John Royal Arch No.320 where RWM Bro. David Thomson extended a warm welcome. On completion of the Lodge business RWM Bro. David Thomson welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Troon Navigation No.86 headed by RWM Bro. Scott Govan. Lodge Troon Navigation then conferred a MM degree on one candidate.

On 6 July, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Neptune Kilwinning No.442 where RWM Bro. Duncan Stanners extended a warm welcome. On completion of the Lodge business RWM Bro. Duncan Stanners then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Burns Dundonald No.1759 headed by RWM Bro. Brian Callaghan. Lodge Burns Dundonald then conferred the Mark Degree on one candidate.

On 30 June, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Thistle and Rose No. 169 where RWM Bro. Steven Travers extended a warm welcome. RWM Bro. Steven Travers then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Irvine St. Andrew No.149 headed by IPM Bro. Mark Watt, who then conferred an EA degree on two Candidates. On completion of the meeting and for the benefit of visitors from Arizona, a mini Burns supper was held with IPPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers addressing the Haggis.

On 29 June, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Beith St. John No. 157 where RWM Bro. John Wilson extended a warm welcome. RWM Bro. John Wilson then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Neptune Killwinning No. 442 headed by RWM Bro. Duncan Stanners, who then conferred a FC degree on one Candidate.

The PGLA summer Communication was held at Stevenston within the premises of Lodge Thistle & Rose No.169 on 28 June 2017. RWPGM Bro. Robert Little welcomed all in attendance. A large Deputation of visiting Sister Provinces headed by RWPGM Bro. Dennis Warren PGL Galloway was welcomed to the meeting. RWM Bro. Arthur Clark of Lodge St. Peter No.331 was presented with the Quiz trophy and SM Bro. Jack Adams with the Penny a Day Quaich. RWM Bro. John Wilson of Beith St. John No.157 received the sponsored walk trophy.

On 26 June RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. John Royal Arch No.320 where RWM Bro. David Thomson extended a warm welcome. RWM Bro. David Thomson then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Royal Blues No.399 headed by RWM Bro. Stewart Gray who then claimed the Travelling Mallet. On completion of the Lodge business a MM degree was conferred on one Candidate.

On 18 May, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Neptune Kilwinning No. 442. RWM Bro. Duncan Stanners extended a warm welcome to the Deputation. On completion of the Lodge business, RWM Bro. Duncan Stanners welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Burns St. Mary No.505 headed by RWM Ivie Rennie, who along with his Office-bearers conferred a MM Degree on one candidate.

On 14 May, the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire held the annual Spring Divine Service in New Cumnock Parish Church. The Service was conducted by the Revd. Helen Cuthbert and Provincial Grand Chaplain Bro. Revd. Steve Clipston. After the Service, Lodge St. John No.334 provided refreshments. Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Robert Little gave a vote of thanks.

On 10 May, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 where RWM Bro. Allan Brown extended a warm welcome to the Deputation and the visitors. On completion of the lodge business. IPPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers delivered his talk on a brother of 204, Bro. David Murray Lyon who became Grand Secretary. IPPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers was presented with a bouquet of flowers for his wife Sadie for the time and effort put into the research and writing of the documentation for the talk.

On 8 May, Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. James Newton-upon-Ayr No.125. RWM Bro. Daniel Dunlop welcomed the Deputation and on completion of the Lodge Business, a second degree was conferred on one candidate.

The quarterly communication of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire was held on 28 April in Kilmarnock Masonic Halls. RWPGM Bro. Robert Little welcomed the Deputation from Sister Provinces headed by Bro. Alexander Thomson RWPGM PGL Lanarkshire Upper Ward. The usual business was dealt with by the RWPGM. On this occasion the vote was taken for the PGLA nomination for RWPGM. DPGM Bro. William Steel was nominated by the Brethren. Thereafter PGL was closed in due form.

On 27 April DPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Troon Navigation No.86 where RWM Bro. Scott Govan extended a warm welcome. RWM Bro. Govan then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St. John Royal Arch No.320 headed by PM Bro. Colin Boyd. PM Bro. Colin Boyd and his Office-bearers then conferred a FC degree on one candidate. On completion of the degree, DPGM Bro. William Steel presented 50 year diplomas to Bros. Douglas Graham and Robin Doak.

On 25 April, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Loudoun (Kilwinning) Newmilns No.51 where RWM Bro. Ronnie Paton extended a warm welcome. On completion of the Lodge Business, IPPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers delivered a talk on the minute books of the Lodge.

On 21 April, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Tarbolton (Kilwinning) St. James No.135 where RWM Bro. Peter Brown extended a warm welcome. RWM Bro. Peter Brown and his Office-bearers then conferred an Entered Apprentice degree on one candidate.

On 20 April IPPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge Neptune Kilwinning No. 442 where RWM Bro. Duncan Stanners extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge business, IPPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers delivered his talk on the Copy Cats of Freemasonry.

On 12 March DPGM Bro. William Steel visited Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 where RWM Bro. Allan Brown extended a warm welcome to the DPGM. RWM Bro. Allan Brown then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St John No.11 headed by RWM Bro. James Sargent. RWM Bro. James Sargent and his Office-bearers then conferred a EA degree on one candidate.

On 11 April, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169 where RWM Bro. Steven Travers extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, RWM Bro. Steven Travers then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Burns St. Mary No.505 headed by RWM Bro. Ivie Rennie. RWM Bro. Ivie Rennie and his Office-bearers then conferred a Mark degree on one candidate.

On 6 April, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Fergusson St. James No.566 where RWM Bro. Thomas Hainey extended a warm welcome. RWM Bro. Thomas Hainey and his Office-bearers then conferred a FC degree on one candidate.

On 5 April RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. John No. 11, for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. James Sargent welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, a FC degree was conferred on one candidate by the RWM and Office-bearers. RWM Bro. James Sargent then conferred Honorary Membership on RWPGM Bro. Robert Little. SPGM Bro. James Bell then carried out the business of the Annual PGLA visitation and granted Lodge St. John a clear minute.

On 30 March, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Troon Navigation No.86 where the RWM Bro. Scott Govan extended a warm welcome. Charles Mitchell and his Office-bearers then conferred a FC degree on one candidate.

On 28 March, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. David (Tarbolton) Mauchline No.133 where IPM Bro. Jack Fleming extended a warm welcome. Prior to welcoming the Provincial Deputation, IPM Bro Fleming welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St. Luke No.132 and Lodge St. John, Stow, No.216 headed by RWM of 132 Bro. Ian Brotherston. IPM Bro. Jack Fleming and his Office-bearers then conferred a FC degree on one candidate.

On 23 February SPGM Bro. Stephen McConnachie headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, into Lodge Wallace St. Hugh No.1212, for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. Charles Mitchell welcomed the deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, a FC degree was conferred on one candidate by the RWM and Office-bearers. SPGM Bro. Stephen McConnachie then carried out the business of the Annual PGLA visitation and granted Lodge 1212 a clear minute.

On 24 March, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Royal Arch No.314 where RWM Bro. William Burns extended a warm welcome. RWM Bro. Burns then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St. John Royal Arch No.320 headed by RWM Bro. David Thomson. RWM Bro. David Thomson and his Office-bearers then conferred a MM degree on one candidate.

On 23 March, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. Marnock No.109 where RWM Bro. Robert Murray extended a warm welcome. RWM Bro. Murray then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St. John (Kilwinning) Kilmarnock No.22 headed by RWM Bro. Ian Gilroy. RWM Bro. Ian Gilroy and his Office-bearers then conferred a FC degree on one candidate, Bro Ross Murray, son of the RWM 109.

On 20 March, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Coila St. Andrew No.1334 where RWM Bro. Clark McCrindle extended a warm welcome. WSW Bro. Andrew Fitzsimmons and his degree team then conferred a MM degree on one candidate.

On 16 February SPGM Bro. Stephen McConnachie headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, into Lodge Fergusson St. James No.566 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. Thomas Hainey welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, a FC degree was conferred on one candidate by the RWM and Office-bearers. SPGM Bro. Stephen McConnachie then carried out the business of the Annual PGLA visitation and granted Lodge 566 a clear minute.

On 14 February RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Loudoun (Kilwinning) No.51 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. Ronald Paton welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, a FC degree was conferred on one candidate by the RWM and his Office-bearers. RWPGM Bro. Robert Little then carried out the business of the Annual PGLA visitation and granted Lodge 51 a clear minute. He then presented a 50 year diploma to Bro. James Edwin Bell.

On 9 March RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Darvel No.971 where RWM Bro. Rodney Pirrie welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the Lodge business, RWM Bro. Rodney Pirrie welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St Barnabas No.230 headed by RWM Bro. William Robertson into the Lodge. RWM Bro. William Robertson and his Office-bearers then conferred a FC degree on one candidate. On completion of the degree, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little presented a 50 year Jubilee Certificate to Bro. Gavin Lyons.

On 8 March RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 where RWM Bro. Allan Brown extended a warm welcome. RWM Bro. Allan Brown then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St. James Newton-upon -Ayr No.125 headed by RWM Bro. Daniel Dunlop. RWM Bro. Daniel Dunlop and his Office-bearers then conferred a Master Mason degree on one candidate.

On 4 March, RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. John (Kilwinning) No.173 where RWM Bro. Andrew Anderson extended a warm welcome. RWM Bro. Anderson then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St. John Royal Arch No.320 headed by RWM Bro. David Thomson. RWM Bro. David Thomson and his Office-bearers then conferred a FC degree on one candidate.

On 24 February Substitute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Samuel Peden headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. John No.334 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. James Walker welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, a 2nd degree was conferred on one candidate by the RWM and Office-bearers of the Lodge. Substitute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Samuel Peden then carried out the business of the Annual Provincial Grand Lodge visitation and granted Lodge St. John a clear minute.

On 13 February SPGM Bro. Samuel Peden headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. David (Tarbolton) Mauchline No.133 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. Edward Valance welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, a MM degree was conferred on one candidate by the RWM and Office-bearers. SPGM Bro. Samuel Peden then carried out the business of the Annual PGLA visitation and granted Lodge St. David a clear minute.

The February Quarterly Communication was held on 10 February in the premises of Lodge Troon Navigation No.86. The enforced absence of the RWPGM meant that his duties were passed to IPPGM Bro. Archie Chalmers. Provincial Grand Lodge was opened in due form with the normal business taking due course. Mention was made of the illness of certain Brethren including the RWPGM, Bro. Iain Gemmell, Bro. David Stevenson, Bro. William Pettigrew and Bro. Adam Cunningham PPGM. Eulogies were read on behalf of Bro. James Conn PM Lodge Coila St. Andrew No.1334, Bro. Robert Espie PM Lodge St. Matthew Kilwinning No.549, Bro. Robert MacFarlane PM Lodge St. Thomas Kilwinning No.433 and Bro. Jack Galloway PM Lodge St. Thomas Kilwinning No.433. The RWPGM welcomed a large Deputation from Sister Provinces headed by Bro. James Pearston Livingstone RWPGM PGL Renfrewshire West. Included in the Deputation was the RWPGM Glasgow Bro. James Campbell Peddie and the RWPGM Kilwinning Bro. T. Wilson Aitken. Honorary Grand Rank Jewels and certificates were awarded for sterling service to the Craft to Bro. John Kelly McMaster PM Lodge Fergusson St. James No.566 HG Assistant Secretary, Bro. Ian Taylor PM Lodge St. James (Kilwinning) Tarbolton No.135 HG Tyler and Bro. Neil Kinnes Mitchell PM Lodge St. Peter No.331 HG Treasurer. PGL passports were also awarded to WSW Bro. Charlie Calder Lodge St. Maurs No.1398 and Bro. Ian MacDonald Lodge Irvine St. Andrew No.149. A cheque for £1,000 was presented to the RWPGM's Charity Fund by Bro. John Muir PM Lodge Burns Dundonald No.1759 who had made and sold special tokens. This was gratefully received by the RWPGM.

On 9 February DPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. Marnock No.109 where RWM Bro. Robert Murray extended a warm welcome to the Deputation. On completion of the business, Bro. Archie Jay PM and a team of Past Masters conferred a FC degree on one candidate. After the degree, RWM Bro. Robert Murray and DPGM Bro. William Steel presented Bro. Archie Jay PM with a certificate to mark 50 years of faithful service to 109 and the craft.

On 8 February SPGM Bro. Stephen McConnachie headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. Allan Brown welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, a 2nd degree was conferred on one candidate by the RWM and Office-bearers. SPGM Bro. Stephen McConnachie then carried out the business of the Annual PGLA visitation and granted Lodge 204 a clear minute.

On 7 February, DPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation into Lodge St. John (Kilwinning) No.173 where RWM Bro. Andrew Anderson extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge business, RWM Bro. Anderson and his Office-bearers conferred a FC degree on one candidate.

On 1 February SPGM Bro. Samuel Peden headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. Peter No. 331 on the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. Arthur Clark welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, a FC degree was conferred on one candidate by the RWM and his Office-bearers. SPGM Bro. Samuel Peden then carried out the business of the Annual PGLA visitation and granted Lodge 331 a clear minute.
