On Thursday 10 May 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Troon Navigation No. 86. Included in the Deputation were DPGM Bro. Robert Little and PG Chaplain Bro. Ian Benzies. RWM Bro. Munro McLean welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge and a Deputation of Past Masters conferred a 3rd degree. PG Chaplain Bro. Ian Benzies then dedicated a new Masters Chain. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and PG Chaplain invested the RWM with the new chain.
On 9 May 2012 Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 held a business meeting followed by a Dinner. To This dinner Gentlemen who are not in the Craft were invited by members to attend. At the meeting attended by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and Grand Treasurer Bro. James Bell, a Distinguished Service Diploma was presented to Bro. Thomas Main PM. After enjoying a meal RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers gave a talk on Masonry and Grand Treasurer Bro. James Bell gave a talk on the work of Grand Lodge, both being mainly directed at the visiting Gentlemen. SPGM of Renfrewshire East Bro. Iain McPhee gave his talk on Drugs. RWM Bro. David Fullerton toasted Lodge 204 and referred to Auld Ayr. A good night was enjoyed all.
The Spring Communication was held within Kilmarnock Masonic Halls on 27 April. Three visiting PGMs, Bro. John Miller (Renfrewshire East), Bro. John McCormack (Dunbartonshire) and Bro. David Bloomfield (Kilwinning) are pictured above with the RWPGM, PGL Chaplain Rev Bro. Iain Mcdonald and SPGM Bro. Sam Peden.
On 1 May 2012, RWM Bro. James Greig of Lodge Burns St. Mary No.505, welcomed Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Archibald Chalmers into the Lodge. RWM Bro. Robert Stewart of Lodge Stinchar Valley delivered a talk on American Freemasonry. 
On 3 May 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Irvine St. Andrew No. 149. After welcoming the Deputation RWM Bro. Ian Gunion, completed the business. Bro. Angus Gorman 149, PM 1662, PM 1705 and PGLA Grand Director of Music was presented with his 50 year Diploma. A third degree was then conferred on 2 candidates.
On 21 April 2012, Lodge St. John Royal Arch No.320 hosted the third annual meeting of Royal Arch named Lodges in Ardrossan. RWM Bro. Colin Hannah welcome SPGM Bro. William Steel into the Lodge. A Deputation of the Royal Arch named Lodges were then admitted and welcomed. A first degree was conferred by the Brethren of 320.
The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master attended Lodge St Maurs No.1398 on Wednesday 25 April 2012 and, assisted by DPGM Bro. Robert Little and SPGM Bro. William Raeside, presented 50 year membership Diplomas to PM Bro. Hugh Fulton, Bro. Alex Galloway and Bro. Jack Paterson. RWM Bro. Jim Kurth presided over a second degree. PPGM Bro. Adam Cunningham had the pleasure of heading the PGL Deputation this evening.
The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master attended Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169 on Tuesday 24 April 2012 and presented 50 year membership Diplomas to Brothers Robert Lee Cochrane, Robert Kirk and James Martin. IPM George Reid presided over a second degree.
On 18 April 2012, Lodge St. Andrew, Kilmarnock No.126 held their regular meeting. RWM Bro. Andrew Hamilton welcomed Deputations from Lodge Buchanan No.1499, the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire and Grand Lodge of Scotland. Lodge Buchanan conferred a 1st degree on 1 candidate, RWM Bro. Hamilton conferred Honorary membership on 4 Brethren and then another high point of the evening, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers presented a 60 year Diploma to Past Provincial Grand Master Bro. Adam Cunningham.
On 4 April 2012 SPGM Bro. William Steele headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge St. John Maybole No.11 for the Annual Visitation.  After welcoming the Deputation into the Lodge, RWM Bro. William Cuthbert conferred Honorary Membership on PM Bro. James Muir of Lodge Royal Arch Maybole No.198 for his assistance to the Lodge. After witnessing a 2nd degree, the lodge was granted a clear minute.
On 5 April 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers paid a visit to Lodge Neptune Kilwinning Saltcoats No.442. RWM Bro. James Taylor welcomed the RWPGM into the Lodge and after the completion of the business, Bro. Douglas Wood, PM of Lodge Nitshill No.1478, presented the Lodge with a framed photograph from the 100th Anniversary of the Consecration of the Temple. To complete the evening a 2nd degree was conferred on Bro Thomas McEwan by Bro. Duncan Stanners PM & Bro. John Fullarton PM with the working tools being presented by the candidate's father Bro Robert McEwan, Lodge Jeweller. 
On 10 April 2012, Right Worshipful provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge Royal Arch West Kilbride No.314 where he was welcomed by Right Worshipful Master Brother Martin McGinn. After the business of the Lodge was completed, Right Worshipful provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers delivered a talk on the Copy Cats to Freemasonry. After the talk Right Worshipful Master Brother Martin McGinn. conferred Honorary Membership on Brother Sandy Balmer and Brother Charles Nelson.
On 2 April 2012 RWM Bro. Edward Dunlop of Lodge Dalry Blair No 290 welcomed a Deputation from PGLA into the Lodge for the purpose of their Annual Visitation. The Deputation was headed by SPGM Bro. Sam Peden and seven other PGL Office Bearers. A second degree was carried out by the WJW before the Official Visitation took place when the Lodge was given a clear minute. SPGM Bro. Sam Peden then thanked the RWM and the Brethren of the Lodge for the various fundraising activities that they have participated in over the last year. An hour or so was spent in harmony with the Brethren & visitors of the Lodge.
On Thursday 22 March 2012 the RWPGM attended Lodge Dunlop Caledonia No.1408, RWM Bro. J W Reid presiding, and presented Bro. Donald Eckersley PM/Secretary; Bro. Hugh Hamilton PM/SD and Bro. Joe Monkhouse PM 624 with their 50 year membership diplomas. Both Bro. Donald and Bro. Hugh were initiated on the same evening. He then travelled to Lodge Darvel No.971, RWM Bro. Harry Barclay presiding, and presented Bro. Hugh Ferguson PM and Bro. Kennedy Black MM with their 50 year membership diplomas. Both Brothers Hugh and Kenney were initiated on the same evening. On both occasions the PGM was accompanied by several PGL Office-bearers.
On 3 April RWM Bro. Allan Brown of Boswell St. James No. 1011, welcomed a Deputation from PGLA into the Lodge for the purpose of the Annual Visitation. The Deputation was headed by SPGM Bro. William Raeside and included RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and DPGM Bro. Robert Little. A second degree was carried out before the Official Visitation took place when the Lodge was given a clear minute. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers then presented PM Bro. Thomas Kerr Patrick with the Honorary Provincial Grand Rank of Standard Bearer.
The Annual PGLA Visitation to Lodge Royal Arch Maybole No.198 took place on 20 March, with DPGM Bro. Robert Little heading the Deputation. The Deputation was welcomed into the Lodge by IPM Bro. Brian Speirs. A second degree was conferred on one candidate, thereafter the Lodge was granted a clear minute.
PGLA visited Lodge St. Thomas Kilwinning No.433 on 21 March 2012. The Deputation headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers was welcomed in to the Lodge by RWM Bro. Colin Bunyan. Included in the Deputation was Brother John Henderson, RWPGM designate of the PGL of Galloway. The RWPGM was delighted to present Bro. Hugh Hainey, a MM of 433, with a diploma to mark 70 years service within the Craft.
The RWPGM attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge Loudoun (Kilwinning) No. 51 on Tuesday 27 March 2012, RWM Brother Stefan Bain presiding. Lodge Robert Burns No.440 Baillieston, headed by RWM Brother Raymond Dow conferred a Mark Master Mason Degree which was enjoyed by all present.
On Tuesday 13 March a Deputation from the PGLA headed by SPGM Bro William Raeside, PGSW Bro. Duncan Fenwick, Acting PGJW Bro. Duncan Stanners, Acting PGDOC Bro. Derek Welsh and PPGSW Bro. William Burgess visited Lodge Burns Dundonald No.1759 where they witnessed an excellent Fellowcraft Degree carried out by the Brethren of the Lodge. The acting candidate for the evening was Bro. Alastair McKenzie from Lodge Dalry Blair No.290. After the degree SPGM Bro. William Raeside granted the Lodge a clear minute. An hour or so was spent in Harmony with the Brethren and visitors of 1759.
RWM Bro. William Harper welcomed RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers into Lodge Prestwick No. 1060 on 8 March 2012. A deputation from Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 were then welcomed into the Lodge and conferred a Second Degree.
On 13 March 2012, DPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation into Lodge Loudoun (Kilwinning) Newmilns No.51 for their annual visitation. After being welcomed into the Lodge by RWM Bro. Stefan Bain, and witnessing a second degree, DPGM Bro. Robert Little Granted Lodge LKN 51 a clear minute.
On 15 March 2012, Lodge Fergusson St. James No. 566 received their Annual visit by the PGLA. RWM Bro. Kenny Parker welcomed the Deputation headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers. After conferring a 3rd Degree, the Lodge was given a clear minute.
On 7 March 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge St. Peter Galston No.331. After being welcomed into the Lodge by RWM Bro. Liam Stewart and the completion of the business, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers received Honorary Membership of Lodge St. Peter. Bro. Andrew Carnochan presented the RWM with the proceeds of a Burns Supper held on 11 February in the Barr Castle Social Club. The Burns Supper was arranged by Bros Andrew Carnochan (331), George Carnochan (135), friends and family and the Broken Hearts Motorcycle Club. £ 300 to be given to the Adult Training Centre, and £330 to local charities. After the presentations RWM Bro. Liam gave a talk on Masons and Music.
On Tuesday 6 March 2012 the RWPGM, accompanied by SPGM Bro. Sam Peden, attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge Boswell St James No.1011, RWM Alan Brown presiding. A Deputation from Lodge St David (Tarbolton) Mauchline No.133, headed by RWM Bro. Jack Fleming, conferred a FC Degree on one candidate. SPGM Bro. Peden presented Brother Andrew V. Harvey, MM of Lodge Tarbolton (Kilwinning) St James No.135, with his Certificate recognising his completion of the PGL Passport.

On Wednesday 22 February 2012 the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge Irvine Newtown No.1662, Right Worshipful Master Brother William J. Kirkwood presiding. Lodge St John No.497, Catrine, headed by their Right Worshipful Master Brother John McCulloch, conferred a first class second degree on one candidate.
On Thursday 1 March 2012 the RWPGM Brother Archibald Chalmers attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge St Marnock No.109, RWM Brother Steven Shaw presiding. A Deputation from Lodge Irvine Newtown No.1662, headed by RWM Brother William J. Kirkwood, conferred an excellent FC Degree.
The annual visitation to Lodge St John (Kilwinning) Kilmarnock No.22 took place on 2 March 2012. The Deputation was headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and was welcomed into the Lodge by RWM Bro. James Lyle. After witnessing a second degree No.22 were granted a clear minute.
At the Regular meeting of Lodge St James Tarbolton (Kilwinning) No.135 on 17 February 2012, RWM Bro Ian Taylor welcomed a Deputation from PGLA in to the Lodge. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed the Deputation. Lodge Prestwick No.1060 were the visitors on this occasion who conferred a fine second degree on one candidate.
On 16 February 2012, RWM Bro. Munro McLean of Lodge Troon Navigation No.86 welcomed a Deputation from PGLA into the Lodge.  The purpose of the visitation was the Annual Visitation and was headed by SPGM Bro. Drew Rankine, also in the Deputation was RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers. The RWPGM, SPGM and RWM presented 50 year diplomas to Bro. James McIndoe PM and Bro. Hugh Philips PM. The RWPGM then presented a certificate to Bro. Robert Grice of Lodge Tarbolton (Kil) St James No.135 to mark his completion of the PGLA Visitors passport. After witnessing a 1st Degree, SPGM Bro. Drew Rankine, granted a clear minute to the Lodge.
SPGM Bro. Samuel Peden headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge St. David (Tarbolton) Mauchline No.133 on 14 February 2012 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. Jack Fleming welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge, completed the business of the lodge, then with his conferring team conferred a second degree. The lodge was then granted a clear minute.
The Quarterly Communication of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire was held on Friday 10 February 2012 within the premises of Lodge Troon Navigation No.86. Following the business an appeal was heard which had been discussed in PGL Committee on behalf of the Vanessa Riddle Appeal. It was passed that PGLA would donate £500 while the RWPGM asked Lodges to contact PGLA Secretary in order to inform him of how much each Lodge had raised. A number of RWMs and Brethren from various Lodges intimated how much they had raised. Very quickly a sum just short of £3000 was donated by PGL and the Daughter Lodges. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers presented a certificate to mark the completion of the PGLA Visitors passport to PM Robert Hunt of Lodge Bridgeton and Glasgow Shamrock and Thistle No.175.
On 9 February 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers accompanied by DPGM Bro. Robert Little visited Lodge Dunlop Caledonia No.1408 where they were welcomed by RWM Bro. James Reid and the Brethren. After the business of the evening, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers presented Bro. James Robertson with his 50 year diploma.
On 8 February 2012 RWM Bro. Brian Love of Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 welcomed a Deputation from The Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire headed by Depute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Robert little into the Lodge for the Annual Visitation. After witnessing a 2nd Degree, the Lodge was granted a clear minute
On Saturday 4 February 2012 Lodge Troon Navigation No.86 celebrated its 250th Anniversary with a Ceremony of Rededication, conducted by the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, in the Walker Halls in Troon. This was followed by a well attended Dinner in the Concert Halls. The RWPGM Brother Archibald Chalmers, ably assisted by PG Chaplain Bro. Rev I. U. Macdonald and acting PGL Director of ceremonies Bro. Stuart Muirhead performed the Ceremony. Musical accompaniment was provided by Brother Liam Stewart, RWM No.331. Before retiring from the Lodge the PGM was enrolled as an Honorary Member of the Lodge. The company at the Dinner was enhanced with the presence of Mr John Duncan, Lord Lieutenant of Ayrshire and Arran and Provost Winifred Sloan of South Ayrshire Council.
On 1 February 2012 Substitute Provincial Grand Master Bro. William Raeside led the Deputation from PGLA into Lodge St. Peter Galston No.331. Right Worshipful Master Bro. Liam Stewart welcomed the Deputation, which included Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Archibald Chalmers, into the Lodge for the Annual Visitation. After witnessing a 2nd degree, SPGM Bro. William Raeside gave 331 a clear minute.
On 26 January 2012, RWM Bro. William Harper welcomed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Prestwick No.1060. The Deputation was headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers. A further Deputation from Lodge Wallace St. Hugh No.1212 was admitted, this Deputation was headed by RWM Bro. William Crate who then claimed the Travelling Mallet. After the business was complete, RWPGM delivered a short talk on Masonry, thereafter the RWM of Lodge Girvan St. John’s No.237 delivered a talk on the various aspects of the RNLI. Lodge Prestwick then donated £100.00 to the funds of the RNLI.

Lodge Royal Blues No.399 held a rededication ceremony carried out by PGLA on 25 January 2012. This was to celebrate the upgrading of the building with new lighting, redecoration and in particular the addition of Masonic emblems around the walls of the Temple. The work was carried out under the guidance of Bro. Colin Hunter McQueen along with an enthusiastic team who have given the Lodge a new lease of life. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers led a fine Deputation in to the Lodge which included PPGM Bro. Adam Cunningham, DPGM Bro. Robert Little and SPGM Bro. Sam Peden. PGL Chaplain Bro. Rev. Iain U. Mcdonald led the ceremony assisted by the RWPGM. Present at that meeting was a Deputation of Several American Brethren. There was Burns Supper held after the meeting. An excellent night both in the Lodge and afterwards at the Harmony.

Lodge St David (Tarbolton) Mauchline No.133 held their AGM on 24 January 2012. A Deputation from the PGLA was received headed by Past Provincial Grand Master Bro. Adam Cunningham. Also in the Deputation was DPGM Bro. Robert Little and SPGM Bro. Sam Peden. After the business of the evening was complete, acting PGL DoC Bro. Stuart Muirhead presented Bro. William McEwan PM and Bro. William Milligan PM. PPGM Bro. Adam then spoke on the 100 years service that these two Brethren had given to the Craft. Thereafter each was given a 50 year jubilee certificate and a small presentation from the Lodge. RWM Bro. John McCulloch of lodge St. John No.497 was then presented to the Brethren and honored for his contribution and zeal for the Craft by having honorary membership of Lodge St. David conferred upon him. A fine evening was then rounded off in harmony with fine hospitality dispensed by the Brethren of 133.
On 3 January 2012, RWM Bro. Alan Buntain of Lodge St. John (Kilwinning) Largs, No. 173 welcomed a small Deputation from PGLA, headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers into the Lodge. PM Bro. William Kirkpatrick and a team of Office-bearers then conferred a Mark Degree on two candidates.
