On 30 October, RWPGM William Bro. Steel headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169 where RWM Bro. Steven Travers extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, a Commemorative Service in memory of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the First World War was held. Bro. Stewart Gray PM remembered the Brethren of the Lodge. PPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers gave a talk on the Victoria Cross and PG Chaplain Bro. Ian Benzie dedicated a new set of working tools and led the Brethren in praise and prayer.

On 23 October, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. David (Tarbolton) Mauchline No.133 where RWM Bro. Edward Vallance extended a warm welcome. RWM Bro. Vallance then welcomed a Deputation of Honorary Members headed by Bro. Archibald Chalmers PM 127. After completion of the Lodge business, the Honorary Members conferred a MMM degree on one Candidate. After the Degree RWPGM Bro. William Steel presented Bro. Peter McClymont PM with a Distinguished Service Certificate.

On 22 October, RWPGM William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. John RA No.320 where RWM Bro. David Austen extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, the RWM and his Office-bearers then conferred a FC degree on one candidate. RWPGM Bro. William Steel then carried out the business of the Annual Visitation and granted Lodge 320 a clear minute.

On 16 October, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Burns St. Mary No.505 where RWM Bro. Ivie Rennie extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, RWM Bro. Ivie Rennie welcomed a large Deputation from Lodge St. Maurs No.1398, headed by RWM Bro. Paul Devlin. After receiving the mallet, RWM Bro. Paul Devlin and his Office-bearers then conferred a MM degree on one candidate. The substitute candidate was RWM Bro. Ivie Rennie to celebrate 39 years and 6 weeks since Lodge St. Maurs originally conferred a MM degree on him.

On 8 October, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. James Newton-upon-Ayr No.125 where RWM Bro. Gordon Reid extended a warm welcome. RWM Bro. Gordon Reid next welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St. Thomas Kilwinning No.433 headed by RWM Bro. David McCartney. RWM Bro. David McCartney and his Office-bearers then conferred an EA Degree on one candidate.

On 7 October, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire Deputation at the Unity Divine Service hosted by the District Grand Priory of Ayrshire. The Service was held in The New Laigh Kirk, Kilmarnock. Rev. David Cameron and PGLA Chaplain Bro. Steve Clipston conducted the service. Before and after, refreshment was provided by the Kilmarnock Masonic Social Club.

On 29 September, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Troon Navigation No. 86 where RWM Douglas Lancaster extended a warm welcome. Prior to receiving the PGLA Deputation, RWM Bro. Douglas welcomed a Deputation from The St. Helens and Prescot Masonic Group. After the Lodge was adjourned, the above group presented “A TIMELINE DRAMA AND PAGEANT” depicting the early days of the Grand Lodges in England.

On 25 September, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169 where RWM Bro. Steven Travers extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, the IPM and Office-bearers conferred a MM degree on one candidate. RWPGM Bro. William Steel then presented a 60 year Jubilee Certificate to Bro. John Burns.

On 23 September, The Widows Sons in association with Poppy Scotland visited the Province of Ayrshire to lay wreaths to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War 1. The location for the day was the Kilmarnock War Memorial and Hall of Remembrance opposite the Dick Institute in Kilmarnock. The Provost of East Ayrshire Councillor Jim Todd attended the ceremony and laid the first wreath followed by RWPGM Bro. William Steel followed by various RWMs from the Province of Ayrshire. The event was conducted by Bro. David A. Reid Grand Sword Bearer. The Kilmarnock Masonic Club laid on refreshment on completion of the ceremony.

On 22 September, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire to a meeting organised by Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 at Burns Cottage, Alloway. RWM Bro. Robert O’Neil welcomed a Deputation from the Grand Lodge of Scotland headed by Past Depute Grand Master Bro. Hugh Bryson, accompanied by Grand Treasurer Bro. James Bell. The same warm welcome was given to the Provincial Deputation and all of the other visitors. A first degree was conferred on one candidate using the four compartments of the Cottage. After the degree Angus Middleton PM Lodge Royal Arch No. 314 entertained all present in the grounds with a rendering of Tam o' Shanter. The brethren then retired to the Pavilion where a meal was served followed by several Toasts. Lodge Ayr St. Paul then presented cheques to The National Trust for Scotland, the Grand Lodge of Scotland and the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire.

On 15 September, Lodge St. Clement (Kilwinning) Kilmarnock No.202 celebrated 250 years of Freemasonry in Kilmarnock. RWM Bro. David Lloyd extended a warm welcome to a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire headed by RWPGM Bro. William Steel followed by a Deputation from The Grand Lodge of Scotland headed by the Substitute Grand Master Bro. Hugh Clelland. The rededication ceremony was conducted by the Substitute Grand Master Bro. Hugh Clelland assisted by Grand Director of Ceremonies Bro. William Gauld Gauld and Bro. Iain Ramsden Past Senior Grand Chaplain. After the rededication ceremony was complete, Immediate Past Depute Grand Master Bro. Ramsay McGhee assisted by Bro. Iain R Ramsden Grand Chaplain, dedicated the Lodge's new Regalia.  A Celebration Dinner was held in the function suite where the usual toasts were observed.

On Tuesday 11 September RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation into Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169 for the Annual Visitation. The RWM Bro. Steven Travers extended a warm welcome. After the business of the evening a FC Degree was conferred on one candidate. The RWPGM then addressed the Lodge and a clear minute was given.

On 7 September Lodge Tarbolton (Kil) St. James No.135 hosted the Reigning Masters degree organised by PGLA. After completion of the Lodge business, a Deputation of 8 Reigning Masters form the East of the Province of Ayrshire,entered the Lodge representing Lodges 51, 133, 230, 331, 433, 497, 505 and 1011. A Deputation from PGLA headed by RWPGM Bro. William Steel was then admitted. A Deputation from the Grand Lodge of Scotland, headed by Past Depute Grand Master Hugh Bryson entered and was introduced by Grand Director of Ceremonies Bro. William H. Gauld. After receiving all the Deputations, RWM Bro. Archie Borland assisted by the other Reigning Masters, conferred an EA degree on one candidate. The Deputations were piped in and out of the Lodge by Bro. Johnny Gauld PM Lodge Dunlop Caledonia No.1408.

On 6 September, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. Marnock No.109 where RWM Bro. Iain Currie extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business RWPGM William Steel assisted by RWM Bro. Iain Currie presented Bro. Hugh Harper Snr. with a Diploma marking 70 years of service to the Craft and a most unique occasion in Lodge St. Marnock. SPGM Bro. Stewart Cruickshank then carried out the business of the annual visitation and granted Lodge St. Marnock a clear minute. RWM Iain Currie then conferred Honorary Membership on IPPGM Bro. Robert Little and PPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers.

On 30 August, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Stinchar Valley No.1705 where RWM Bro. James MacDonald extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, including the nominations and elections of the RWM and Office-bearers for the coming year, Bro. John Walker PM of Lodge Concord No.1341 delivered his talk on the Long Drop, which was well received by those present.

On 29 August, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. Thomas No.201 where RWM Bro. William Baird extended a warm welcome.

The Lodge held the Annual Nominations and Elections for the coming year.

On 28 August, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169 where RWM Bro. Steven Travers extended a warm welcome. RWM Bro. Steven Travers then welcomed a Deputation of Honorary Members of 169 headed by Bro. Archie Chalmers PM 127 PPGM. The Honorary Members assisted by the Lodge Office-bearers then conferred a MM degree on one candidate. After the Degree a cheque from the Sponsored Walk round Millport was presented to Bro. John Mair and Bro. Brian Gibson PM in aid of Soldiers off the Streets.

On 25 August, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. Clement (Kilwinning) Kilmarnock No.202 where RWM David Lloyd extended a warm welcome. The purpose of the meeting was as part of their 250th Celebrations, Lodge Mother Kilwinning had been invited to carry out their demonstration of the Auld Degree.

On 22 August, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. Maurs No. 1398 where RWM Bro. Paul Devlin extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business the RWM Bro. Paul Devlin and RWPGM Bro. William Steel presented Bro. David McCutcheon with his 50 year Jubilee Certificate.

On 4 August The Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire held a dinner to celebrate the 5 years service of IPPGM Robert Little as Provincial Grand Master of Ayrshire. RWPGM Bro. William Steel was the Master of Ceremonies and introduced the Top Table. After an excellent meal, Bro. James Forrest RWPGM of Dunbartonshire, commented upon Bro. Robert's tenure of office which this was followed by comment from PPGMs Bros Adam Cunningham and Archibald Chalmers. Musical interludes were provided by the South Ayrshire Junior Fiddle Orchestra. At the end of the evening Robert Little was presented with an envelope by RWPGM Bro. William Steel on behalf of the Lodges and Brethren of Ayrshire. Bro. Robert Little then thanked all for the present and for the enjoyment he had over his time in Provincial Grand Lodge as well as Freemasonry in general and hoped that it would continue.

On 23 July, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. John Royal Arch No.320 where RWM Bro. David Austin extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, RWM Bro. David Austin welcomed a Deputation from The Mother Lodge headed by RWM Bro. James Savage. RWM Bro. James Savage and his Office-bearers then conferred a FC degree on one candidate.

On Friday 29 June Substitute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Stewart Cruickshank headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Thistle and Rose No. 169. The RWM Bro. Steven Travers extended a warm welcome. After completion of Lodge business the Brethren of Lodge St. John Royal Arch No.320 conferred an Entered Apprentice Degree on one candidate.

On 27 June, The Summer Quarterly Communication of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire was held in the Masonic Temple Fullarton Street, Ayr hosted by Lodge St. James Newton- upon-Ayr No.125. RWPGM Bro. William Steel welcomed all to the meeting. He then welcomed a Deputation from Sister Provincial Grand Lodges headed by Bro. Dennis Warren RWPGM of Galloway. After completion of the business, RWPGM Bro. William Steel presented two certificates for completion of the PGLA Passport and the winner's trophy for the sponsored walk to Lodge Beith St. John's Kilwinning No. 157. After the meeting the Harmony buffet supplied by the hosting Lodge was enjoyed by all.

On Tuesday 12 June the Depute Provincial Grand Master Bro. James Bell led a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169 where the Right Worshipful Master Bro. Steven Travers extended a warm welcome. After completion of the business an Entered Apprentice degree was conferred on one candidate.

On 8 June RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Irvine Newtown No.1662 where RWM Bro. Greg Ternant extended a warm welcome. A Deputation consisting of IPM Lodge St. Andrew No.126, Bro. Andrew Hamilton and RWMs Bros. Robert O'Neil Ayr St. Paul No.204, John Kirkpatrick Lodge the Bonnie Doon No.565, Paul Devlin Lodge St. Maurs No.1398 and Stewart Gray Lodge Royal Blues No.399 who all meet on the same Wednesday night,were welcomed into the Lodge. Along with RWM Bro. Greg Ternant in the chair, they conferred a FC degree on one candidate.

On 7 June, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Neptune Kilwinning No.442 where RWM Bro. Duncan Stanners extended a warm welcome. RWM Bro. Duncan Stanners then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Royal Blues No.399 headed by RWM Bro. Stewart Gray. RWM Br. Stewart Gray and his Office-bearers then conferred an EA degree on one candidate.

On Tuesday 29 May the RWPGM Bro. William Steel led a Deputation from PGL Ayrshire into Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169. The RWM Bro. Steven Travers extended a warm welcome to the Deputation. On 17 May, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Beith St.John Kilwinning No. 157 where RWM Bro. John Wilson extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, RWPGM William Steel presented a 50 Year Jubilee Certificate to Bro. Sandy Shearer.

On 15 May, Substitute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Stewart Cruickshank headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. John (Kilwinning) No.173 in Largs where RWM Bro. James Fraser extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, the RWM and his Office-bearers conferred an EA degree on one candidate.

On 12 May, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Girvan St. John’s No.237 where RWM Bro. Henry McMaster extended a warm welcome for the annual Charity Day. RWM Bro. Henry McMaster then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St. John No.11 headed by RWM Bro. William Cuthbert. RWM Bro. William Cuthbert and his Office-bearers then conferred a FC Degree on one candidate. The Brethren then retired to a buffet which had been laid on by Lodge No.237.

On 9 May SPGM Bro. Stewart Cruickshank headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 where RWM Bro. Robert O’Neil extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, the RWM welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St. James Newton-upon-Ayr No.125 headed by RWM Bro. Gordon Reid who, along with his Office-bearers, conferred an EA degree on one candidate. On completion of the degree RWM Bro. Robert O’Neil conferred Honorary Membership on IPPGM Bro. Robert Little in recognition of his time as a Commissioned Office-bearer in The Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, especially his term as RWPGM. RWM Bro. Robert O’Neil then presented SPGM Bro. Stewart Cruickshank with a Mallet and Base to mark his selection and Commission in The Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire.

On 3 May RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Irvine St. Andrew No.149 where RWM Bro. David Smith extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, RWM Bro. David Smith welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Irvine Newtown No 1662 headed by RWM Bro. Greg Ternent who after receiving the mallet, with his Office-bearers conferred a FC degree on one Candidate.

The Regular Communication of PGLA was held in Kilmarnock Masonic Halls on 27 April. The Deputation of visiting Sister Provinces was headed by the DPGM of Dunbartonshire Bro. David Irving. Sadly five obituaries were read with eulogies given. Thereafter the business was swiftly worked through by the RWPGM and at the end of these Bro. William Burns RWM of Lodge Royal Arch No.314 was presented with an Ayrshire Masonic passport after havingvisited every Lodge in the Province.

On 26 April, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Troon Navigation No.86. RWM Bro. Douglas Lancaster extended a warm welcome and then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St. John Royal Arch No.320 headed by RWM Bro. David Austin, who along with his Office-bearers conferred a FC degree on one candidate. After completion of the degree, RWPGM Bro. William Steel presented 50 year jubilee certificates to Bro. Morris Stewart PM, Bro. James Wilson PM, Bro. James Watters and Bro. Iain McCall.

On 16 April, DPGM Bro. James Bell headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Coila St. Andrew No.1334 where RWM Bro. Andrew Fitzsimmons extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge business, the RWM welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St. Thomas No.201 headed by RWM Bro. William Baird who along with his Office-bearers conferred a FC degree on one candidate. On completion of the degree DPGM Bro. James Bell assisted by PPGM Bro. Adam Cunningham presented a 50 year Jubilee certificate to Bro. William Poole PM.

On 11 April, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 where RWM Br. Robert O’Neil extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, the RWM and his Office-bearers then conferred a Mark Degree on one candidate.

On 10 April RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. David (Tarbolton) Mauchline No.133 where RWM Bro. Edward Vallance extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, RWM Bro. Edward Vallance welcomed a Deputation from Lodge The Bonnie Doon No.565 headed by RWM Bro. John Kirkpatrick who with his Office-bearers conferred a FC degree on one candidate.

On 4 April The Masonic Motor Bikers "the Widow's Sons" conferred a degree in Lodge St. Peter No.331

On 3 April DPGM Bro. James Bell headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, into Lodge Dalry Blair No.290 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. Edward Dunlop welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, a FC degree was conferred on two candidates by the RWM and Office-bearers of 290. DPGM Bro. James Bell then carried out the business of the Annual PGLA visitation and granted Lodge Dalry Blair a clear minute.

On Tuesday 28 March the RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169. RWM Bro. Steven Travers extended a warm welcome to the Deputation. After the business an EA Degree was conferred on two candidates by the RWM and Office-bearers of 169. Also in attendance that evening was a large number of visiting Brethren from Lodges in Cheshire and Wales.

On 9 March, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge St. Matthew Kilwinning No.549 where RWM Bro. Alan Brighton extended a warm welcome.

After completion of the Lodge business, RWM Bro. Alan Brighton welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Irvine Newtown No.1662 headed by RWM Bro. Greg Ternent, into the Lodge.

After receiving the mallet, RWM Bro. Greg Ternent assisted by Bro. Robin Brown IPM as RWMM conferred the Mark Degree on one candidate.

On 6 March DPGM Bro. James Bell headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Burns St. Mary No.505 where RWM Bro. Ivie Rennie extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, Bro. Derek Rutherford PM conferred a Mark degree on one candidate. DPGM Bro. James Bell then presented 50 year Jubilee Certificates to Bro. Robert Harrison PM and Bro. James Wilson MM of Lodge 505 and WJW of Lodge 331. Bro. Ian Johnstone PM 331 was presented with a 50 year Jubilee Certificate on behalf of Bro. John Jack MM of 505 now living in South Africa.

The RWPGM Bro. William Steel visited Lodge St. James (Tarbolton (Kilwinning) No.135 on 2 March 2018. After welcome by the RWM Bro. Archie Borland, a FC degree was conferred on one candidate by the RWM. Bro. Andrew Fitzsimmons and Brethren of Lodge Coila St. Andrew No.1334.

On 27 February RWPGM Bro. William Steel accompanied by SPGM Bro. Stewart Cruickshank, visited Lodge Loudoun (Kilwinning) No.51 where RWM Bro. Ronnie Paton extended a warm welcome. This was the first visit for RWPGM Bro. William Steel to his Mother Lodge as RWPGM. After completion of the Lodge Business, the RWM and his Office-bearers then conferred an EA degree on one candidate. The candidate for the evening was Substitute Master Bro. James Mair, who has just been appointed President of the Widows Sons Scotland.

On 26 February, RWPGM Bro. William Steel accompanied by SPGM Bro. Stewart Cruickshank and PGLA Marshal Bro. William Cuthbert visited Lodge St. James Newton-upon-Ayr No.125 where RWM Bro. Gordon Reid extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge business, the RWM and his Office-bearers then conferred an EA degree on one candidate.

On 22 February SPGM Bro. William Grant headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Stinchar Valley No.1705 for the Annual PGL visitation. RWM Bro. Fred Christie extended a warm welcome to the Deputation. After completion of the Lodge Business, the SPGM and the appointed Office-bearers from PGLA carried out the business of the Annual Visit and granted Lodge 1705 a clear minute.

On 21 February, RWPGM Bro. William Steel accompanied by SPGM Bro. Stewart Cruickshank visited Lodge St. John No.11 where RWM Bro. William Cuthbert extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, the RWM and his Office-bearers conferred an EA degree on one candidate.

SPGM Bro. Stewart Cruickshank Visited Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169 on 13 February.

After a warm welcome from RWM Bro. Steven Travers and surrender of the Mallet, SPGM Bro. Stewart Cruickshank returned the Mallet to enjoy the work of 169.

A MM degree was then conferred on one candidate.

On 14 February SPGM Bro. Stephen McConnachie headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. Robert O’Neil welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After completion of the business, a FC degree was conferred on one candidate by the RWM and Office-bearers of 204. SPGM Bro. Stephen McConnachie then carried out the business of the Annual PGLA visitation and granted Lodge Ayr St.Paul a clear minute.

On 12 February, RWPGM Bro. William Steel and SPGM Bro. Stewart Cruickshank visited Lodge St. John Royal Arch No.320 where RWM Bro. David Austen extended a warm welcome.

After completion of the Lodge Business, the RWM and his Office-bearers conferred MM degree on one candidate.

The Quarterly Communication of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire was held at the premises of Lodge Troon Navigation No.86 on 9 February. The business of the meeting was dispensed with quite quickly and efficiently. The new Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. William Steel then presented Substitute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Stephen McConnachie, Provincial Grand Lodge Secretary Bro. Stuart McCall, Past Senior Provincial Grand Warden Bro. Martin Smillie and Bro. Eric Pearson PM Secretary of Lodge St. Matthew Kilwinning No. 549 with their Honorary Grand Rank. Jewels and recognition were also made for the service of Immediate Past Provincial Grand Master Bro. Robert Little and Past Substitute Provincial Grand Master, Past Senior Provincial Grand Warden and Past Secretary Bro, Samuel Peden.

On 5 February, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Coila St. Andrew No.1334 where RWM Bro. Andrew Fitzsimmons extended a warm welcome. After completion of the Lodge Business, the RWM Bro Andrew Fitzsimmons welcomed a large Deputation from Lodge St. James Tarbolton (Kilwinning) No.135 headed by RWM Bro. Archie Borland. RWM Bro. Archie Borland and his Office-bearers then conferred a FC degree on one candidate.

On 1 February, RWPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Darvel No. 971 where RWM Bro. Robert Smith extended a warm welcome to the new RWPGM and his Deputation. RWM Bro. Ronnie Paton and Brethren from Lodge Loudoun (Kilwinning) No.51 were present. After the business of the Lodge, as the RWPGM is a PM of both Lodges, a joint conferring team carried out a FC degree on one candidate. After the degree, Lodge 971 provided an excellent harmony.

On 31 January RWPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a large Deputation from PGLA in to Lodge St. Peter No.331 on the occasion of their Annual Visitation. RWPGM Designate Bro. William Steel carried out the business of the Visitation granting Lodge 331 a clear minute. After the close of the meeting a short ceremony was carried out where the new RWPGM Bro. William Steel and his newly Commissioned Office-bearers were invested with their Regalia and chains of Office.
