On 6 March RWM Bro.Paul Parker on his first meeting as RWM, welcomed a large Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge headed by Depute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Robert Little, into Lodge St John (Kilwinning) Kilmarnock No. 22. A first Degree was conferred on one candidate, Corrie Stewart, with the majority of the degree being conferred by his father Bro. Tam Stewart PM. DPGM Robert Little gave the Lodge a clear minute.

On 5 March, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a small Deputation into Lodge Neptune Kilwinning No.442. After being welcomed by RWM Bro. John Fullarton, the RWPGM presented Bro. Charlie Pllu PM Secy with a jewel to mark his recently awarded Provincial Grand Rank of Standard Bearer. The Brethren then enjoyed a third degree.
On 2 March, Substitute Provincial Grand Master Bro. William Raeside headed a Deputation into Lodge Coila St. Andrew No.1334. Right Worshipful Master Bro. James Smillie welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. A Mark degree was witnessed which saw Brother Jodie Gerard being advanced while Brother Johnny Hubbard received his Mark Degree after having been away from the Lodge for many years. During the PGLA business Lodge Coila were given a clear minute.

On Friday 27 February, Right Worshipful Master Brother Fraser Craig of Lodge Dunlop Caledonia No. 1408 welcomed a large number of visitors into the Lodge. Substitute Provincial Grand Master Brother William Steel represented PGLA on this occasion. A large Deputation from Lodge The Gael No. 609, entered the Lodge lead by 8 pipers. Right Worshipful Master Brother Donald MacDonald of Lodge 609, accepted the mallet and appointed his Office-bearers. A first degree was carried out by the Pipers of Lodge the Gael in a most exemplary manner.

On Wednesday 25 February 2009 the RWPGM, accompanied by PPSGM Bro. John Taylor PM HM, attended the Annual Speakers Night of Lodge Royal Blues No.399. RWM Bro. Gillan Kennedy presided over an excellent evening. The Guest Speakers were Bro. George Henderson PM 399 who spoke about Famous Freemasons, Bro. Malcolm Taylor PM 205 who spoke on the life and times of a Prison Officer and the RWPGM who delivered a talk on the very first known Burns Supper ever held and the Masonic connections. Brother Hugh Halbert PM Secy, was presented with a Distinguished Membership Diploma by the RWPGM and the RWM for services rendered to the Lodge.

RWM Archie Chalmers welcomed a large number of visitors into Lodge Stinchar Valley No.1705 for the AGM and annual Visit from PGLA on 26 Feb 09. SPGM Bro. Drew Rankine headed the deputation, with SPGM Bro. Willie Raeside, acting wardens were Bro. William Connell and Bro Stewart Cruickshank, DOC was Bro. William Pettigrew with Bro. Neil Mitchell as the 5th member. Also in the deputation were Bro. William Haggarty, Bro. David Stevenson and Bro. William Grant. A clear minute was given. After the meeting a Burns Supper was held. Bro. Robert Little toasted the Haggis, Bro. William Grant proposed the immortal memory, and Bro. Wardrop recited Death and Dr Hornbook.

The February Communication was held on Friday 13 February within the premises of Lodge Troon Navigation No. 86. There was a large turn out of Brethren and a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Kilwinning headed by the RWPGM Bro. David Bloomfield. The business of the evening was swiftly handled by the RWPGM, PGL Secretary and PGL Treasurer. With the assistance of PPGM Bro. Adam Cunningham the RWPGM officially presented PM Bro. William Jackson McIntosh of Lodge Montgomerie Kilwinning Skelmorlie No. 624, his Diploma from Grand Lodge indicating his status of Honorary Grand Architect. The RWPGM further honoured two long serving brethren of the Province with PGL Honorary Grand Rank. Bro. Charles Pllu PM Secy of Lodge Neptune Kilwinning No. 442 and Bro. Andrew McCartney PM Treas of Lodge Fergusson St James No. 566 who received Honorary Standard Bearer Diplomas for long and faithful service to their Lodges and to Freemasonry in general. The RWPGM closed by expressing his gratitude to Lodge Troon Navigation for their hosting and hospitality on the evening.

On 12 February 2009 the RWM of Lodge Troon Navigation No. 86 Bro. Jim Gourlay welcomed a Deputation from the PGLA into the Lodge for the annual visitation. The Deputation was headed by SPGM Bro. William Steel. Lodge Troon Navigation received a clear minute.

On 11 February RWM Bro. Bryan Love welcomed a Deputation from the PGLA into Lodge Ayr St.Paul No. 204 for the Annual Visitation. The Deputation was headed by D PGM Bro. Robert Little. A second degree was conferred on the youngest son of the RWM.

RWPGM Bro. Archie Chalmers attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge Montgomerie Kilwinning No.624 on Wednesday 11 February 2009. The RWM Bro. John Little presided over a Master Mason Degree conferred upon two candidates. PM Bro. William Jackson McIntosh was later presented, by the RWPGM on behalf of the Lodge, with a neck jewel indicating his recent Honorary Grand Rank status of Architect. The RWPGM was accompanied by Sub PGM Bro. W Raeside, PG Secy Bro. R Stewart and Office-bearer Bro. Martin Smillie.

Lodge St Barnabas No. 230 met in Cumnock on 10 Feb 09 where SPGM Bro Neville Clark headed a Deputation of seven to the Annual Visitation of the Lodge. Bro Neville issued the Lodge with a clear minute after witnessing an excellent Mark Degree.
