At Lodge St. John, New Cumnock No.334, on Thursday 29 December, RWM Bro. Martin Merivale welcomed a Deputation from PGLA into the Lodge. The Deputation was headed by SPGM Bro. Samuel Peden which included RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers. The RWM also welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Dalry Blair No.290 with RWM Bro. Edward Dunlop heading the Deputation. Lodge 290 conferred a 3rd degree on candidate Bro. David Philips.
RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge The Bonnie Doon No.565 on 28 December 2011, DPGM Bro. Robert Little accompanied the Deputation. RWM Bro. David Fullerton welcomed the Deputation and then the Brethren conferred a 3rd degree on Bro. Ian McBride.
On 27 December 2011, Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers and a small Deputation from PGLA visited Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169. After being welcomed by Right Worshipful Master Brother Stewart Gray, Brother Graeme Stevely was passed to the second degree by members of 169 and Immediate Past Master of Lodge St. Christopher No.1453, Brother Sandy Balmer. After the meeting a Ladies night was held.
The RWPGM attended the regular meeting of Lodge Troon Navigation No.86 on Thursday 22 December 2011, RWM Brother Angus Munro McLean presiding over a superb EA Degree. The RWM of The Mother Lodge of Scotland, Brother David A. Kirk, was also in attendance.

On 14 December 2011, RWPGM Brother Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 and was welcomed by RWM Brother Bryan Love. A second degree was conferred on one candidate.

On 7 December 2011, Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge St. Peter No. 331 in Galston and was welcomed by Right Worshipful Master Bro. Liam Stewart. Lodge Eaglesham, No. 1265 headed by Right Worshipful Master Bro. Eric Tannahill conferred an excellent 3rd degree on one candidate.
On 30 Nov 2011 the RWPGM visited Lodge St Andrew No.126 where RWM Bro. Andrew Hamilton welcomed a good sized deputation from Lodge St James Tarbolton (Kilwinning) No.135 who had come along to confer the first degree. RWM Bro. Jim Davidson and his team initiated Bro. Craig Hamilton on what was RWM Bro. Jim's last visit as a conferring Master before demitting office.
On Wednesday 23 November 2011 the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers attended Lodge St Maurs No.1398 for the purpose of assisting Right Worshipful Master Brother Jim Kurth present a Distinguished Membership Diploma upon Brother Jim Roy the retiring Lodge Secretary. Brother Jim who is over 50 years a member of the Lodge has served as Lodge Secretary for the past 14 years.
Lodge Burns St. Mary No.505 held a celebratory dance to mark 25 years since the new Lodge Room was built on Saturday 19 November 2011 in the Thistle Hurlford. Following the meal all were invited to have a look round the Temple and RWM Bro. Liam Stewart of Lodge St. Peter Galston No.331 gave a toast to the Lodge. The Secretary Bro. Jim Greig then presented Morean Hamilton the owner of the Thistle with a bouquet of flowers as a token of all they do for the lodge. Before going back down stairs for the dance a group photo was taken of all present in the east of the Lodge.
RWPGM Bro. Archibald  Chalmers headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge St. Thomas Kilwinning, Dalmellington No.433 on 16 November 2011. The deputation was welcomed into the Lodge by RWM Bro. Duncan Reid. After completing the business and the AGM, PGLA DoC Bro. Stuart Muirhead presented Bro. William Johnstone PM to the RWM, thereafter the RWPGM and RWM presented Bro. William with a Distinguished Service Diploma.
On Sunday 13 November 2011 the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers attended the Remembrance Day Service at the Kilmarnock Cenotaph. Senior Provincial Grand Warden Brother Duncan Fenwick laid a wreath on behalf of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire. The Right Worshipful Masters of the four Kilmarnock Lodges were also present with Brother Andrew Hamilton, Right Worshipful Master of Lodge St Andrew No.126, laying a wreath on their joint behalf.
On 10 November 2011 RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a Deputation into Lodge Dunlop Caledonia No.1408. After being welcomed by RWM Bro. James Reid, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers assisted by DPGM Bro. Robert Little, presented 50 year diplomas to Bros. John Montgomery and Andrew Hamilton. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers then presented a certificate to RWM Bro. James Reid to confirm his completion of the PGLA Passport. 1408 then held their AGM.
On 8 November 2011 Lodge St James (Kilwinning) Tarbolton No.135 visited Lodge St Barnabas No.230 in Cumnock to confer the second degree. Bro. John Shirkie PM was welcomed in to the Lodge by Right Worshipful Master Bro. Milton Fleming. Bro. Shirkie was deputising in the absence of the Right Worshipful Master. Following the degree, Right Worshipful Master Bro. Milton Fleming, with the assistance of Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Archibald Chalmers, Depute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Robert Little and Substitute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Sam Peden, conferred Honorary Membership on Bro. John Shirkie.
On 2 November 2011, DPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation into Lodge Girvan St. John's No.237. RWM Bro. Kevin Gibson welcomed the Deputation and then conferred a first degree on Fraser Kirkland. DPGM Bro. Robert Little then presented a 50 year diploma to Bro. William Davidson, the grandfather of the candidate. PGLA Grand Chaplain Bro. Rev. Ian Benzie then rededicated the 2 plaques in the east of the Lodge, one remembering the fallen in the First World War and the other commemorating the Bi-Centenary of the Lodge. RWM Bro. Kevin Gibson then conferred Honorary Membership on Bro. Rev. Ian Benzie.
The Annual Communication of PGL was held on Friday 28 October 2011 within Lodge Neptune Kilwinning No.442, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers presiding. Deputations were formally received from The PG Royal Arch Chapter of Ayrshire headed by Grand Supt. Gordon Booth accompanied by his PG Secretary; from The District Grand {Priory of Ayrshire) headed by DG Prior John M Turner and his DG Secretary and from the PGL of Kilwinning headed by RWPGM David C. Bloomfield accompanied by IPPGM and PG Secretary. The Installation of the elected Office-bearers of PGL was conducted by DPGM Bro. Robert Little and the RWPGM of Kilwinning.
On 24 October 2011, the Annual Visitation of Provincial Grand Lodge to Lodge St. John R.A. No. 320 took Place.

Right Worshipful Master Brother Colin Boyd welcomed the Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge headed by Substitute Provincial Grand Master Brother William Raeside.

Lodge 320 were given a clear minute.

Substitute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Samuel Peden headed a Deputation into Lodge St. James (Kilwinning) Tarbolton No. 135  on 21 October 2011. RWM Bro. James Davidson welcomed the Deputation. The Worshipful Junior Warden Bro. Ian Davidson and his team then conferred a 2nd degree.  The business of PGLA was the annual visit for which Lodge No.135 received a clear minute. The Substitute Provincial Grand Master also presented Bro. Matthew P Train with a Jubilee certificate for 50 years service to Lodge St James and the Province of Ayrshire.

On 20 October 2011, Right Worshipful Master Bro. David Stevenson of Lodge Beith St. Johns No. 157, welcomed a Deputation from Provincial Grand Lodge headed by Provincial Grand Master Bro. Archibald Chalmers into the Lodge. After witnessing the business and a 1st degree on one candidate, The Provincial Grand Master granted Lodge 157 a clear minute.

The annual PGLA visitation to Lodge St. John (Kilwinning), Largs, No.173 took place on 18 October 2011.

The PGLA Deputation, led by Substitute Provincial Grand Master Brother William Steel was welcomed by Right Worshipful Master Brother Andrew Anderson. A clear minute was given after witnessing a First Degree.

The RWPGM headed a Deputation into Lodge Coila St. Andrew on 17 October 2011. RWM Bro. William Andrew welcomed the Deputation and then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St Thomas Kilwinning Dalmellington No.433 headed by RWM Bro. Duncan Reid.

The Deputation from 433 then conferred a Mark degree.  RWM Bro. William Andrew then conferred Honorary Membership on Bro. James Gracie PM of 433.

On 13 October 2011, Right Worshipful Master Bro. Phil Radwell of Lodge Prestwick No.1060, welcomed a Deputation from Provincial Grand Lodge headed by Substitute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Samuel Peden into the Lodge.

After witnessing the business and a 2nd degree, The Substitute Provincial Grand Master granted Lodge 1060 a clear minute.

SPGM Brother William Raeside headed the PGLA Deputation into Lodge RA West KilbrideNo.314 on 11 October 2011.

RWM Brother Martin McGinn welcomed the Deputation. After the degree the Lodge was delighted to receive a clear minute.

The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers, attended a Special Meeting of Lodge Montefiore No.753, Glasgow, on Monday 10th October 2011, Right Worshipful Master Brother Timothy Lovat presiding over a MM Degree. Substitute Provincial Grand Master of Glasgow, Brother James McMillan, presented Brother Gerald Levin, PM and Past Substitute Grand Master, with his 60 year Membership Diploma.
WPGJW Bro. Ian McBreen headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Irvine St. Andrew No.149 on 6 October 2011.  RWM Bro. Ian Gunnion welcomed the Deputation which included RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers into the Lodge. After the Lodge business was completed, the RWPGM and RWM presented PM Bro. Robert Sharp with a Distinguished Service Diploma for his long Service to 149. The Past Masters of the Lodge then conferred a 1st degree on 2 candidates.

On Wednesday 28 September 2011 the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge Irvine Newtown No.1662, Right Worshipful master Brother William Kirkwood presiding. On 27 September 2011, RWM Bro. James Picken welcomed a Deputation from PGLA headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers into Lodge Burns Dundonald No.1759. After completing the business, a Deputation from Lodge Troon Navigation No.86 headed by Bro. James Gourley PM was received and then Lodge Troon Navigation conferred a 3rd degree on one candidate. To commemorate 50 years service to the Craft RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers presented a 50 year diploma to Bro. Duncan Rigg of Lodge St. Matthew Dreghorn No.549 and a founder member of Lodge Burns Dundonald No.1759.
At Lodge Tarbolton (Kil) St. James No. 135 on 23 September 2011, RWM bro. James Davidson welcomed a small Deputation from PGLA headed by RWPGM bro. Archibald Chalmers. After the business was completed a Deputation from Lodge Prestwick No.1060 headed by RWM Bro. Phil Radwell, was received and they then carried out a 2nd degree. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers was nearly lost for words when he was offered and received Honorary Membership of 135.
On 22 September 2011, Right Worshipful Master Brother William Pollock of Lodge Darvel 971 welcomed a large Deputation from Provincial Grand Lodge headed by Substitute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Drew Rankine into the Lodge. Having completed the business of the evening a 1st degree was conferred and then SPGM Bro. Drew Rankine granted 971 a clear minute.
On 21 September 2011, DPGM Bro. Robert Little Headed the PGLA Deputation into Lodge St. John Catrine No.497. RWM Alex Tanner welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge and after the Office-bearers Elect conferred a 2nd Degree, DPGM Bro. Robert gave 497 a clear minute.
RWM Bro. Derek Smith of Lodge Burns St. Mary No.505 welcomed a Deputation from PGLA on 20 September 2011. The Deputation was headed by SPGM Bro. Sam Peden and included RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and PPGM Bro. Adam Cunningham. After witnessing an excellent 2nd degree, SPGM Bro. Sam Peden conducted the business of the annual visitation and gave 505 a clear minute. PPGM Bro. Adam Cunningham presented a 50 year Diploma to Bro. John Melrose and RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers presented a 50 year Diploma to Bro. David Strachan PM.
On 15 September 2011, Bro. Ian Gunion RWM of Lodge Irvine St. Andrew No.149 welcomed a Deputation from PGLA, headed by SPGM Bro. William Raeside. After the business of the evening was completed, Bro. Rev. Ian Benzies, (PGLA Chaplain) was affiliated into 149. Thereafter a 2nd degree was conferred on one candidate. The Lodge received a clear minute from SPGM Bro. William Raeside.
The Annual Visitation of PGLA to Lodge St. Clement Riccarton (Kilwinning) Kilmarnock. No. 202 took place on 13 September.  RWM Bro. David McClurkin welcomed the Deputation from PGLA headed by SPGM Bro. Sam Peden into the Lodge to witness the business and the conferring of a 1st degree, then the Lodge were granted a clear minute.
On 12 September 2011, SPGM Bro. Drew Rankine headed the PGLA Deputation into Lodge St. James Newton-upon-Ayr, No.125 for the annual visitation.  RWM Bro. Sam Wales welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge, and a clear minute was granted.
On 9 September 2011, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed the Deputation from PGLA into Lodge St. Matthew Dreghorn, No. 549. After being welcomed by RWM Bro. Ian Clark and witnessing a 3rd degree, a clear minute was granted and Provincial Grand Chaplain Bro. Ian Benzie dedicated new regalia.
On 7 September 2011, a Deputation from PGLA visited Lodge St. John No. 11, Maybole. RWM Bro. Hugh Mundell welcomed the Deputation headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers into the Lodge. On completion of the business, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers presented a 50 year diploma to Bro. Peter Ogg PM, in recognition of his service to the Craft and the Lodges in South Ayrshire in particular. RWM Hugh Mundell than conferred Honorary Membership on RWPGM Bro Archibald Chalmers.
The annual PGLA visit to Lodge Thistle Stewarton No.127 took place on 6 September 2011.  SPGM Bro. William Steel headed the Deputation from PGLA. Included in the Deputation was RWPGM Bro. David A. Reid of Renfrewshire East. RWM Bro. Roderick Murray welcomed the deputation into the Lodge and after conferring a second degree, SPGM Bro. Steel granted a clear minute to the Lodge.
The first of the Autumn 2011 visitations took place on 1 September, when SPGM Bro. William Raeside headed the Deputation from PGLA into Lodge St. Marnock No. 109. RWM Bro. Ian Johnstone welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge and after completing the business of the evening, received a clear minute from the SPGM.
On 30 August 2011, RWM (IPM) Bro. Ian Steel, welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Blantyre Kilwinning No.557 headed by RWM Bro. Jack Brown into Lodge St. Clement Riccarton (Kilwinning) Kilmarnock No.202 and thereafter welcomed a Deputation from PGLA headed by DPGM Bro. Robert Little. A 3rd degree was conferred on 1 candidate by the degree team from Blantyre.
On 22 August, DPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge St. John Royal Arch No. 320. After RWM Bro. Colin Boyd welcomed the Deputation and completing the business of the night, the RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers entertained the Brethren to a talk on " The Imitators or Copycats of Freemasonry"

On 9 August 2011, RWPGM bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a large Deputation of Provincial Grand Lodges from Ayrshire, Glasgow (Bro. Alistair Henderson RWPGM), Dunbartonshire (Bro. Tom Leckenby RWPGM), Perthshire West (Bro. John Brockie RWPGM) and Argyll and the Isles (Bro. Donald Bannatyne SPGM) into Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169. After welcoming the Deputation, RWM Bro. Stuart Gray, carried on with the business of the evening. Secretary Bro. Robert Cramb PM (Snr) presented a gift to Bro. Rev. John Lafferty to mark his retirement and the work he has carried out for the Lodge. The RWM , RWPGM and Bro. William Sheperdson PPGM of Glasgow congratulated Bro. John. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers then delivered a talk on Bro. Francis Love, a poet and member of Lodge No.169. RWM Bro. Stuart Gray, then conferred Honorary Membership of 169 on RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers for his service to 169 and the Province of Ayrshire, the RWPGM suitably replied and thanked the Lodge.

On 4 August 2011, RWM Bro. John Taylor of Lodge Neptune No. 442, welcomed a Deputation from PGLA headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers into the Lodge, also in the deputation was RWPGM Bro. John Brochie of Perthshire West. After the completion of the business the RWM welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Eaglesham No.1265, headed by RWM Bro. Eric Tannahill, who along with his Office-bearers conferred a 3rd degree.
On 25 July 2011, RWPGM Brother Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge St John RA No.320. RWM Brother Colin Boyd welcomed the Deputation from Provincial Grand Lodge into the Lodge and after the business was completed, a third degree was conferred on one candidate.
SPGM Bro. Samuel Peden headed a deputation into Lodge Neptune Kilwinning No.442 on 7 July 2011. The Deputation was welcomed by IPM Bro. John Fullarton and a 3rd degree was demonstrated. The RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers was included in the Deputation.
RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers presided over the Quarterly Communication of PGL held within the premises of Lodge St John RA No.320 on Wednesday 29 June 2011. Two special Guests were Miss L. McColgan who had excelled in Gymnastics attaining 4th place overall in the UK and Brother John Hughes who had won a Bronze Medal at Bowling in South Africa. Both had been assisted by PGL and the Daughter Lodges. A donation by PGL was made this evening to the 1st Stevenston Boys Brigade under the leadership of Brother Brian Gibson WJW 320. The Company had twice been to London representing Scotland first at the Royal Wedding and also at the Queens Birthday celebrations. The Deputation from Sister Provinces was headed by RWPGM of Kilwinning Brother David Bloomfield. As usual a very well attended Communication.

On 24 June 2011, Lodge Irvine St. Andrew No.149 paid their annual visit to Lodge Thistle and Rose No. 169 in Stevenston. RWM Bro. Stewart Gray welcomed a Deputation from PGLA headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and then welcomed the Deputation from 149 headed by RWM Bro. Ian Gunnion. Lodge Irvine St. Andrew conferred a mark degree on 6 candidates.

RWPGM Brother Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge St. John (Kilwinning) Largs No.173 on 21 June 2011. After being welcomed by RWM Bro. Andrew Anderson, a Mark degree was enjoyed by all present.

Depute Provincial Grand Master Brother Robert Little and a small Deputation from PGLA visited Lodge St. James Newton-upon-Ayr No.125 on 13 June 2011. After being welcomed by Right Worshipful Master Brother Sam Wales, Worshipful Junior Warden Brother Iain Gemmell and his degree team conferred a first degree.
On Sunday 12 June 2011 the RWPGM headed a large Deputation of PGL into Ardeer Parish Church for the purpose of attending the Annual Joint Divine Service of Lodges 169, 320 and 442. RWM Bro. Stewart Gray of Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169 welcomed everyone present and was delighted with the turnout for the service. This was likely to be the last Divine Service to be conducted by Bro. Rev John Lafferty MM 160 HM 169, as he was nearing his retirement from the Ministry and would be moving back to his native Glasgow. PPGM Bro. Adam Cunningham concluded the meeting by giving a Vote of Thanks to Brother Lafferty and wished him a happy retirement.
A special meeting of Ayr St. Paul No. 204 was held on 8 June 2011. RWM Bro. Andrew Main welcomed a large number of Brethren from various Provinces along with a large Deputation from various Provincial Grand Lodges headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers. RWPGM Bro. James Miller PGM Renfrewshire West, RWPGM Bro. John Brockie PGM Perthshire West, DPGM Bro. Tom Wood PGL Kilwinning, SPGM Bro. Ian McPhee PGL Renfrewshire East and Bro. Robert Mathew Member of Committee for Lanarkshire Middle Ward were all presented. Three candidates were Initiated into the Craft. All three were welcomed into Freemasonry by the RWPGM's and the RWM.
The RWPGM led a Deputation of 15 members of PGL into Lodge St John (Kilwinning) No. 173 on 7 June 2011 and presented two Brethren with 50 year diplomas; Bro. Frank Donnachie of Lodge No.173 and Bro. James Urquhart of Lodge Kenmuir No. 570. He was ably assisted by Bro. Alex Watson PM 570 Past SPGM of Glasgow. Bo. Ian McPhee, SPGM of Renfrewshire East, PM Lodge Erskine No.1566, gave a most interesting and informative talk and slide show on the history of the Lodge and the reason for many of its customs and practices. There was a large attendance and all were warmly welcomed by RWM Bro. Andrew Anderson.
