On 6 February 2013, A very large Deputation from PGLA visited Lodge St. Peter No.331, Galston for the annual visitation. The Deputation was headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers assisted by DPGM Bro. Robert little, all 4 SPGM’s, Provincial Grand Secretary PGSW and PGJW and all were welcomed into the Lodge by RWM Bro. Hugh Good. On completion of the business, the RWPGM carried out the business of the visitation and granted 331 a clear minute. After the Lodge was closed, PPGM Adam Cunningham divested RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers of his regalia and then invested him with his IPPGM’s Jewel. Bro. Archibald Chalmers then divested Bro. Robert Little of his DPGM regalia and handed over the Regalia of RWPGM to Bro Little. Bro Archibald Chalmers then divested the remainder of his Commissioned Office-bearers of their Regalia and Bro. Robert Little handed out the relevant Regalia. On completion of the handover, the Brethren adjourned to the Social Club for an excellent buffet.
On 5 February 2013, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a large Deputation into Lodge Thistle No.127, Stewarton. This was the last time Bro. Chalmers would head a Deputation as Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master into his Mother Lodge. RWM Bro. John Anderson welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge and after the completion of the business, welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St. Maurs, No.1398 headed by RWM Bro. Robert Howe. A second degree was conferred by 1398 on 1 candidate. After the degree RW PGM Archibald Chalmers presented 2 MM and 2 MMM certificates and then a certificate for the completion of the PGLA Passport to Bro. Robert Taylor PM. PPGM Bro. Adam Cunningham paid tribute to the work carried out by RWPGM during his tenure.
On Monday 4 February 2013 the RWPGM attended Lodge Coila St Andrew No.1334 for the purpose of presenting Bro. Robert Brown MM 1334 and a PM of Charterhouse Lodge No.5690 Warwickshire, with his 50 year membership Diploma. With Bro. Norman Pile PM presiding in the absence of the RWM, Lodge St Thomas No.201 headed by RWM Bro. John Breckney conferred an EA Degree on a substitute candidate. DPGM Bro. Robert Little and Bro. J S Cruickshank were was also in attendance.
On 22 January, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge St. Clement (Kilwinning) No.202, where he was welcomed by RWM Bro. Gordon Horner, who also welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Prestwick No.1060, headed by RWM Bro. Drew Rankine. Lodge Prestwick conferred a 3rd Degree. After the degree, RWM Bro. Gordon Horner conferred Honorary Membership of Lodge 202 on RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers.
On 17 January RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Fergusson St. James No.566.  RWM Bro. Thomas Hainey welcomed the Deputation and after the business conferred a 3rd degree assisted by his Office-bearers. At the completion of the degree, with DPGM Bro. Robert Little acting as PGWSW and SPGM Bro. William Steel acting as PGWJW, PG DoC Bro. Stuart Muirhead, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers presented Bro. Brodie Gibson PM with a 50 year Jubilee Certificate.
On 9 January, DPGM Bro. Robert Little visited Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 where he was welcomed by RWM Bro. Bryan Love. A first degree was conferred on one candidate who was one of the interested parties at the Dinner for prospective candidates held in May 2012.
On Friday 28 December 2012 the RWPGM, accompanied by SPGM Bro. Sam Peden and Bro. Stewart Cruickshank, attended a Meeting of Lodge Boswell St James No1011 with RWM Bro. David Harvey presiding. Formal presentation of 50 year Diplomas were made to Brothers John Steel MM and Geronimo Fernandez Donis MM by the RWPGM and SPGM. At the close of the meeting a Games Night was enjoyed by the Brethren.
On 27 December 2012, RWPGM Brother Archibald Chalmers and SPGM Brother William Steel visited Lodge St. John, New Cumnock No. 334. Although it was only a Business meeting at pleasant time was had by all.
On Friday 14 December 2012 the RWPGM attended the regular meeting of Lodge St Matthew Kilwinning No.549 for the purpose of introducing to the Lodge a Deputation from the United Grand Lodges of Germany headed by the Grand Master Wor. Bro. Prof. Dr. Rudiger Templin. After welcoming the Deputation into Ayrshire and making the introductions to RWM Bro. Ian Clark the RWPGM retired leaving SPGM Bro. William Steel to represent the Province. The SPGW Bro. Ian McBreen, PM of Lodge No.549, was also in attendance.
On 13 December, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and a Deputation from PGLA were piped into Lodge Prestwick No.1060 where they were welcomed by RWM Bro. William Harper. After the degree, Past SPGM Bro. Archibald Patrick presented a Platinum (70 year) Certificate to Bro. David Forsyth who was the congratulated by the RWPGM and RWM. During the harmony the RWPGM tried on the famous white jacket as pictured below.
On 12 December 2012 RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge Ayr St. Paul No. 204 where he was welcomed by RWM Bro. Bryan Love. A Deputation from Lodge Wallace St. Hugh No. 1212, headed by RWM Bro. Barry Crate, was welcomed into the Lodge for the purpose of capturing the Travelling Mallet as they hoped to mark the date 12/12/12 with Lodge 1212 capturing the mallet. After the business was completed, RWM Bro. Bryan Love handed the mallet to Secretary Bro. Arthur Brown PM to confer a First Degree on his nephew Alexander Brown.  Alexander’s father Bro. Allan Brown WJW and his Uncle Bro. David Brown who stood in as WSW, conferred  the degree. Alexander is the first candidate to join the Lodge since the dinner held to encourage candidates.
On Monday 10 December 2012 a Deputation from PGLA attended Lodge St John RA No.320, RWM Brother Colin Hannah presiding. The RWPGM assisted Brother Rev Ian Benzie PG Chaplain to invest the Office-bearers with new regalia which the PG Chaplain had previously Dedicated for Masonic usage.
Bro. Neil Redmond's visit to his Mother Lodge St James (Kilwinning) Tarbolton No.135 on 7 December 2012 marked 70 years since his initiation on 4 December 1942. RWPGM Bro. Archie Chalmers made a special visit to present him with a 70 year Jubilee certificate and pay tribute to his masonic career. Bro. Neil replied in his remarkably sharp, witty manner. Bro. Neil will be 100 years old in April 2013. The Brethren of the Lodge also presented Neil with a cake in the form of an apron.
On 27 November, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge St Clement (Kil) No. 202 where he was welcomed by RWM Bro. Gordon Horner. Lodge Blantyre Kilwinning No. 557 were the visiting Lodge and conferred a 3rd Degree on one candidate. The Deputation was headed by RWM Bro. Andrew Paterson.
RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and a small Deputation from PGLA visited Lodge Wallace St. Hugh No.1212 on 26 November. New RWM Bro. Barry Crate welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge and after the business was completed, one candidate was initiated. The candidate for the evening was the RWM’s father Charles Crate.
On 21 November, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a Deputation into Lodge St. Peter No.331 where RWM Liam Stewart extended a warm welcome. The main business of the evening was to celebrate the jubilee of Bro. James Mills PM and Bro. Rodger Williamson PM joining the Lodge and Freemasonry. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers  Bro. Robert Little PM, RWM Bro. Liam Stewart and PPGM Bro. Adam Cunningham all made their remarks and presented the jubilee certificates. Both Past Masters suitably replied. At the close of the meeting, the Brethren adjourned to the Social Club where further speeches were made by and to the two PMs.

On Saturday 17 November 2012 Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169 Stivenstoune celebrated the 225 anniversary of her foundation. RWM Bro. Robert Kerr welcomed the RWPGM Bro. Archie Chalmers and a large Deputation from PGL Ayrshire, also present was PPGM Bro. Adam Cunningham. The re dedication service was conducted by PGL Chaplain Rev. Bro. Ian U. Macdonald. The occasion was also marked by a meal and dance.

On Wednesday 14 November, the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Archie Chalmers accompanied by Past Provincial Grand Master Bro. Adam Cunningham, attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge St Maurs No.1398, RWM Bro. Jim Kurth presiding. RWM Bro. Colin Bunyon and Brethren of Lodge St Thomas Kilwinning No.433 conferred a MM Degree on one candidate. Thereafter the RWM of "1398" conferred Honorary Membership of the Lodge upon Brothers Chalmers and Cunningham for services rendered to Ayrshire Freemasonry over many years.
 
On 1 November RWPGM Archibald Chalmers headed a Deputation into Lodge Troon Navigation No. 86. Included in the Deputation was RWPGM Designate Bro. Robert Little. After being welcomed by RWM Bro. Munro McLean and the completion of the business, Provincial Director of Ceremonies Bro. Stuart Muirhead presented PM bro. Derek Welch to the RWPGM, who with the assistance of the RWM and Bro. John Coates PM, presented Bro. Derek with a Distinguished Service Certificate.
The Annual Communication was held on 26 October 2012. This was to be Brother Archie's last meeting as RWPGM. To round off his term, he installed the Office-bearers along with PPGM Brother Adam Cunningham. In a very full programme lasting over 3 and a half hours, RWM Brother Munro Maclean also received his Masonic passport from the RWPGM along with RWPGM Kilwinning Brother David Bloomfield.
On 22 October, SPGM Bro. Sam Peden headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge St. John R.A. No. 320 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. Colin Hannah welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge and completed the business. RWM Bro. Colin then gave a lecture on the First Degree Tracing Board. On completion of the Lecture, the Lodge was granted a clear minute.
The Annual Visitation to Lodge St. James (Kilwinning) Tarbolton No.135 took place on 19 October. SPGM Bro. William Steele headed the Deputation along wit SPGM Bro. Sam Peden. WSW Bro. Sammy Duffy conferred a fine second degree. Thereafter the Lodge received a clear minute.
On 18 October, SPGM Bro. William Raeside headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Beith St. John’s No.157 for the purpose of the Annual Visitation.  RWM Bro. Kevin Baker welcomed  the Deputation into the Lodge and after conferring a second degree, the Lodge was granted a clear minute.
DPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation into Lodge St. Clement (Kilwinning) No.202 on 16 October. RWM Bro. Gordon Hormer welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge, conducted the business and then conferred a 1st Degree. Bro. Tom Guthrie PM and Bro. Tom McDowell PM were then presented. DPGM Bro. Robert Little and PPGM Bro. Adam Cunningham presented 50 year diplomas to both PMs. The RWM also presented each with a gift from the Lodge.

On Tuesday 9 October SPGM Brother William Raeside headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Thistle & Rose No.169 for the Dedication of their new regalia. RWM Brother Stewart Gray welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge and after the election of Office Bearers, the SPGM presented the Office-bearers with the new regalia, ably assisted by the Brother the Rev Ian U. On 11 October, DPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Prestwick No.1060 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. William Harper welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge, completed the business of the Lodge and conferred a second degree. On completion of the degree, the Lodge was granted a clear minute. SPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from PGLA to Lodge Royal Arch No. 314 on 9 October for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. Martin McGinn welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge after which a second degree was enjoyed by all. SPGM Bro. William Steel then granted the Lodge a clear minute. Bro. On Wednesday 3 October 2012 the RWPGM Brother Archibald Chalmers attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge St John No.11 in Maybole, for the purpose of presenting Brother Thomas Neville (Tony) Barton PM, with his Jubilee Certificate from Grand Lodge acknowledging his 50 years in the Craft. The PGM was ably assisted in making the presentation by acting PG DoC Brother Stuart McKenzie Muirhead.
RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a Deputation to Lodge St. James (Kilwinning) Tarbolton No.135 on 28 Sep 2012. After witnessing a fine second degree conferred by Lodge Tollcross No.1194, Bro John Weir was presented with a fifty year Jubilee Diploma by the RWPGM who commented on his service and connection with Lodge St James.
SPGM Bro. Drew Rankine headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Darvel No.971 for the Annual Visitation on 27 September 2012. RWM Bro. Harry Barclay welcomed the Deputation and after conferring a 2nd degree, Lodge Darvel were granted a clear minute.
On 22 September, DPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation from PGLA and guests into Lodge Burns Dundonald No.1759 where the Deputation was welcomed by RWM Bro. John Law. This was a special meeting with two lectures. The first was by Bro. Tom Monaghan on the two Scottish Lodges in Belgium, and the second by SPGM Renfrewshire East Bro. Iain McPhee on the Influences of the War in Japan on the Ritual of The Lodge of Erskine No. 1566.
RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Neptune Kilwinning Saltcoats No. 442 for the Annual Visitation on 20 September. RWM Bro. James Taylor welcomed the Deputation. He had previously welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St.John (Kilwinning) Largs No.173 headed by RWM Bro. Alan Buntain. After 173 conferred a Mark Degree, the Annual Visitation business took place, and Lodge 442 were granted a clear minute. SPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge St. John, Catrine No. 497 for the Annual visitation on 19 September. RWM Bro. John McCulloch welcomed the Deputation and after conferring a 2nd degree, Lodge 497 were granted a clear minute.
SPGM Bro. William Raeside headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Burns St. Mary No.505 for the Annual visitation on 18 September. RWM Bro. James Greig welcomed the Deputation and after conferring a 2nd degree, Lodge 505 were granted a clear minute.
On 15 September, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a large Deputation from various Provinces into Lodge St. John (Kilwinning) Largs No. 173. The Deputation was welcomed by RWM Bro. Alan Buntain, who had previously welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Union and Crown No.307, headed by RWM Bro. Kenneth Coleman. Lodge Union and Crown conducted their dramatised version of the Auld Second Degree.
SPGM Bro. Drew Rankine headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge St. Marnock No.109 for the Annual visitation on 13 September. RWM Bro. Stephen Shaw welcomed the Deputation and after conferring a 2nd degree, Lodge 109 were granted a clear minute.
On 12 September, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a Deputation into Lodge Ayr St. Paul No. 204. RWM Bro. Bryan Love welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. The Deputation consisted of Members of the Friends of Marcus Humphrey House headed by Bro David Reid Grand Inner Guard, and Chairman of the Friends of Marcus Humphrey House Group. After witnessing a Mark Degree, Bro David Reid gave an account of the work being carried out over the last few months. SPGM of Glasgow Bro. John McLean, Secretary of the Friends of Marcus Humphrey House spoke on behalf of the PGM and his Deputation.
SPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Thistle and Rose No. 169 for the Annual Visitation on 11 September. RWM Bro. Stewart Gray welcomed the Deputation and after conferring a 2nd degree, Lodge 169 were granted a clear minute.

SPGM Bro. William Raeside headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge St. James Newton-upon-Ayr No. 125 for the Annual visitation on 10 September. RWM Bro. Sam Wales welcomed the Deputation and after conferring a 3rd degree, Lodge 125 were granted a clear minute.
On 6 September 2012 Depute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Robert Little visited Lodge Fergusson St. James No. 566 to present the Pairs Golf Trophy  to Bro. John Wason PM  Treasurer and Bro. David Wason WJW. He also presented Bro. John Wason PM  Treasurer with the Singles Golf Trophy.

On 5 September 2012, SPGM Bro. William Steel headed a Deputation into Lodge St. Peter Galston No. 331. The Deputation was welcomed by RWM Br. Liam Stewart, who had previously welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Stinchar Valley No.1705 into Lodge St. Peter. The 1705 Deputation was headed by RWM Bro. Robert Stewart. Also included in the Deputation were Bro. Archibald Chalmers PM 1705 RWPGM and Bro. Robert Little SM 1705. On completion of the business RWM Bro. Robert Stewart gave a talk on Prince Hall Freemasonry.
On 4 September 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a PGLA deputation into Lodge Burns St. Mary No. 505. After being welcomed by RWM Bro. James Greg, and the completion of the business, Bro. Peter McCall was presented with his Diamond Jubilee Certificate by PPGM Bro. Adam Cunningham and RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers then presented a Distinguished Service Diploma to Bro. David Strachan PM.
On 30 August, SPGM Bro. Samuel Peden headed a PGLA Deputation into Lodge Stinchar Valley No.1705. RWM Bro. Robert Stewart welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge, including RWPGM Bro. John Brockey (Perthshire West), RWPGM Bro. Donald Craig (Argyll and the Isles) and RWPGM Bro. John S. Miller (Renfrewshire East). After the business was completed Bro. Liam Stewart RWM St. Peter, Galston No.331 delivered a talk on Masons and their Music.
On 27 August 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge St. John R.A. No.320.  After being welcomed by RWM Bro. Colin Hannah a Mark degree was enjoyed by all.
The RWPGM, accompanied by 18 other members of PGL, attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge St Maurs No.1398 on Wednesday 22nd of August 2012, RWM Brother Jim Kurth presiding. The purpose of the visit was to present 60 year Membership Diplomas to Brother William John Gray PM and Brother Archie James Fulton MM.
On 3 August 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge St. John R.A. No.320, where the Deputation was welcomed by RWM Bro. Colin Hannah. A Deputation headed by RWM Bro. Edward Dunlop, from Lodge Dalry Blair No.290, was also welcomed into 320. The Office bearers from 290 then conferred a 2nd degree.
On 31 July, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a small Deputation into Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169, where they were welcomed by RWM Bro. Stewart Gray. A 3rd degree was conferred by Honorary Members of 169 assisted by the Office Bearers of 169. The 3 honorary members were RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers, PSGW Bro. William Haggarty, and Bro. Tom Reid PM 442. The attendance was 169 with 11 provinces represented.
On 23 July 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge St. John R.A. No.320, where he was welcomed into the Lodge by RWM Bro. Colin Hannah. An excellent 2nd degree was enjoyed by all present.
On 4 July 2012, DPGM Brother Robert Little headed a small Deputation into Lodge Neptune Kilwinning, No.442. RWM James Taylor welcomed the Deputation and a Mark degree was conferred on one Candidate.
On Monday 25 June 2012 the RWPGM Brother Archibald Chalmers was made an Honorary Member of Lodge St John Royal Arch No.320 in Ardrossan. The honour was conferred by RWM Brother Colin Hannah.
On Friday 29 June 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and DPGM Bro. Robert Little visited Lodge Thistle and Rose No. 169.  After welcoming the Provincial Deputation, RWM Bro. Stewart Gray conducted the business and then welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Irvine St. Andrew No. 149 headed by RWM Bro. Ian Gunnion. Brethren from 149 conferred a 1st degree on one candidate.
At the Quarterly Communication, held on Wednesday 27 June 2012 at Muirkirk, the RWPGM presented the Chairman of the Marcus Humphrey House Group, Brother D. A. Reid, with a cheque for £5000 on behalf of the Freemasons of Ayrshire. This amount was mainly raised at the Helicopter Flights Day run by Brother Duncan Stanners PM of Lodge No.442. RWM Brother Brian Love of Lodge No.204 presented a cheque for £500 to the MHHG on behalf of his Brethren. The Sponsored Walk Trophy was presented to Lodge No.157, the 549 Quaich to Lodge No.125 and the Golf Trophy to Lodge No.566. PPGM Brother William Rae was in attendance at what was a most enjoyable Communication. The RWPGM expressed his appreciation to Lodge St Thomas No.201 for hosting the evening.
On 19 June 2012, the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge St. John (Kilwinning) Largs, No.173 where he was welcomed by Right Worshipful Master Brother Alan Buntain. A Mark Degree was enjoyed by all present.
On 5 June 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and a Deputation from PGLA visited Lodge St. John (Kilwinning) Largs No.173. Also in the Deputation was RWPGM of Kilwinning Bro. David Bloomfield, Rt Rev. Bro. Dr. Idris Jones RWM Lodge The Prince’s No.607 PG Chaplain PGL Glasgow, Junior Grand Chaplain, Grand Lodge of Scotland and Bro. Yasha Berensiner PM Quatuor Coronati London No.2076 , United Grand Lodge of England, Past Grand Standard Bearer United Grand Lodge of England, Hon. Senior Grand Warden, Grand Lodge of the State of Israel. After the business of the Lodge was completed, Bro. Yasha delivered a talk on The experiences of an English Freemason in Scotland.
On Sunday 3 June 2012, The PGLA and Lodge St. Thomas Kilwinning No.433 took part in the parade to and from the Parish Church in Dalmellington. The Church Service was part of the Jubilee Celebrations and was conducted by Rev. Fiona Wilson with the Music being provided by the Junior Section of the Dalmellington Silver Band. After the service, 433 supplied and served a large buffet for all.
On 1 June 2012, RWM Bro. James Lyle, Lodge St. John (Kilwinning) Kilmarnock No.22 welcomed a Deputation from PGLA into the Lodge. The Deputation was headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers, an Honorary Member of 22. After the business was completed, the Honorary Members of the Lodge conferred a 3rd degree on one candidate.
RWM Bro. Alan Brown of Lodge Boswell St. James No. 1011, welcomed a Deputation from Provincial Grand Lodge headed by the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Archibald Chalmers on 29 May 2012. Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Archibald Chalmers delivered his talk on Copy Cats.
As part of their 250 Year celebrations, Lodge Troon Navigation invited Mother Kilwinning to demonstrate their Auld Degree. RWM Bro. David Kirk and his Deputation were welcomed into 86 by RWM Bro. Munro McLean, who then welcomed a Deputation from PGLA headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers. After the demonstration, Bro. Colin Brotherton PM No.0 & 566 was made an Honorary Member of Lodge Troon Navigation No.86.
On 22 May 2012 a Deputation from PGLA visited Lodge St. David (Tarbolton) Mauchline No.133.  PGSW Bro. Duncan Fenwick led the Deputation into the Lodge. The RWM Bro. Jack Fleming welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. After the business was complete, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers presented a 60 year Diploma to Bro. James Wilson PM. RWM Bro. Jack Fleming presented Bro. James with a pair of crystal glasses from the Lodge. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers then presented his talk on “Copy Cats”. Bro. William Smallwood PM Lodge St. Johns Girvan No.237 was then presented with a certificate to mark his completion of he PGLA Passport.
On 19 May 2012 the annual meeting of the St. Thomas Lodges took place in the premises of Lodge of St. Thomas Kilwinning Dalmellington No. 433. RWM Bro. Colin Bunyan welcome Deputations from the St. Thomas Lodges from Arbroath, No.40; Larkhall No.306 and Muirkirk No.201 then a Deputation from the PGLA headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers. After a second degree conferred by a team form all the Lodges, a meal was enjoyed by all who waited.
On 16 May 2012, RWM Bro. Robert McMaster welcomed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Girvan St. John’s No. 237. After the business had been completed, RWM Bro. Robert Stewart of Lodge Stinchar  Valley No. 1705 gave a talk on Prince Hall Masonry. DPGM Bro. Robert Little then presented Bro. William Broadfoot Davidson with a Jubilee certificate to mark 60 years of Freemasonry.
On Thursday 10 May 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Troon Navigation No. 86. Included in the Deputation were DPGM Bro. Robert Little and PG Chaplain Bro. Ian Benzies. RWM Bro. Munro McLean welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge and a Deputation of Past Masters conferred a 3rd degree. PG Chaplain Bro. Ian Benzies then dedicated a new Masters Chain. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and PG Chaplain invested the RWM with the new chain.
On 9 May 2012 Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 held a business meeting followed by a Dinner. To This dinner Gentlemen who are not in the Craft were invited by members to attend. At the meeting attended by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and Grand Treasurer Bro. James Bell, a Distinguished Service Diploma was presented to Bro. Thomas Main PM. After enjoying a meal RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers gave a talk on Masonry and Grand Treasurer Bro. James Bell gave a talk on the work of Grand Lodge, both being mainly directed at the visiting Gentlemen. SPGM of Renfrewshire East Bro. Iain McPhee gave his talk on Drugs. RWM Bro. David Fullerton toasted Lodge 204 and referred to Auld Ayr. A good night was enjoyed all.
The Spring Communication was held within Kilmarnock Masonic Halls on 27 April. Three visiting PGMs, Bro. John Miller (Renfrewshire East), Bro. John McCormack (Dunbartonshire) and Bro. David Bloomfield (Kilwinning) are pictured above with the RWPGM, PGL Chaplain Rev Bro. Iain Mcdonald and SPGM Bro. Sam Peden.
On 1 May 2012, RWM Bro. James Greig of Lodge Burns St. Mary No.505, welcomed Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Archibald Chalmers into the Lodge. RWM Bro. Robert Stewart of Lodge Stinchar Valley delivered a talk on American Freemasonry. 
On 3 May 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Irvine St. Andrew No. 149. After welcoming the Deputation RWM Bro. Ian Gunion, completed the business. Bro. Angus Gorman 149, PM 1662, PM 1705 and PGLA Grand Director of Music was presented with his 50 year Diploma. A third degree was then conferred on 2 candidates.
On 21 April 2012, Lodge St. John Royal Arch No.320 hosted the third annual meeting of Royal Arch named Lodges in Ardrossan. RWM Bro. Colin Hannah welcome SPGM Bro. William Steel into the Lodge. A Deputation of the Royal Arch named Lodges were then admitted and welcomed. A first degree was conferred by the Brethren of 320.
The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master attended Lodge St Maurs No.1398 on Wednesday 25 April 2012 and, assisted by DPGM Bro. Robert Little and SPGM Bro. William Raeside, presented 50 year membership Diplomas to PM Bro. Hugh Fulton, Bro. Alex Galloway and Bro. Jack Paterson. RWM Bro. Jim Kurth presided over a second degree. PPGM Bro. Adam Cunningham had the pleasure of heading the PGL Deputation this evening.
The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master attended Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169 on Tuesday 24 April 2012 and presented 50 year membership Diplomas to Brothers Robert Lee Cochrane, Robert Kirk and James Martin. IPM George Reid presided over a second degree.
On 18 April 2012, Lodge St. Andrew, Kilmarnock No.126 held their regular meeting. RWM Bro. Andrew Hamilton welcomed Deputations from Lodge Buchanan No.1499, the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire and Grand Lodge of Scotland. Lodge Buchanan conferred a 1st degree on 1 candidate, RWM Bro. Hamilton conferred Honorary membership on 4 Brethren and then another high point of the evening, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers presented a 60 year Diploma to Past Provincial Grand Master Bro. Adam Cunningham.
On 4 April 2012 SPGM Bro. William Steele headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge St. John Maybole No.11 for the Annual Visitation.  After welcoming the Deputation into the Lodge, RWM Bro. William Cuthbert conferred Honorary Membership on PM Bro. James Muir of Lodge Royal Arch Maybole No.198 for his assistance to the Lodge. After witnessing a 2nd degree, the lodge was granted a clear minute.
On 5 April 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers paid a visit to Lodge Neptune Kilwinning Saltcoats No.442. RWM Bro. James Taylor welcomed the RWPGM into the Lodge and after the completion of the business, Bro. Douglas Wood, PM of Lodge Nitshill No.1478, presented the Lodge with a framed photograph from the 100th Anniversary of the Consecration of the Temple. To complete the evening a 2nd degree was conferred on Bro Thomas McEwan by Bro. Duncan Stanners PM & Bro. John Fullarton PM with the working tools being presented by the candidate's father Bro Robert McEwan, Lodge Jeweller. 
On 10 April 2012, Right Worshipful provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge Royal Arch West Kilbride No.314 where he was welcomed by Right Worshipful Master Brother Martin McGinn. After the business of the Lodge was completed, Right Worshipful provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers delivered a talk on the Copy Cats to Freemasonry. After the talk Right Worshipful Master Brother Martin McGinn. conferred Honorary Membership on Brother Sandy Balmer and Brother Charles Nelson.
On 2 April 2012 RWM Bro. Edward Dunlop of Lodge Dalry Blair No 290 welcomed a Deputation from PGLA into the Lodge for the purpose of their Annual Visitation. The Deputation was headed by SPGM Bro. Sam Peden and seven other PGL Office Bearers. A second degree was carried out by the WJW before the Official Visitation took place when the Lodge was given a clear minute. SPGM Bro. Sam Peden then thanked the RWM and the Brethren of the Lodge for the various fundraising activities that they have participated in over the last year. An hour or so was spent in harmony with the Brethren & visitors of the Lodge.
On Thursday 22 March 2012 the RWPGM attended Lodge Dunlop Caledonia No.1408, RWM Bro. J W Reid presiding, and presented Bro. Donald Eckersley PM/Secretary; Bro. Hugh Hamilton PM/SD and Bro. Joe Monkhouse PM 624 with their 50 year membership diplomas. Both Bro. Donald and Bro. Hugh were initiated on the same evening. He then travelled to Lodge Darvel No.971, RWM Bro. Harry Barclay presiding, and presented Bro. Hugh Ferguson PM and Bro. Kennedy Black MM with their 50 year membership diplomas. Both Brothers Hugh and Kenney were initiated on the same evening. On both occasions the PGM was accompanied by several PGL Office-bearers.
On 3 April RWM Bro. Allan Brown of Boswell St. James No. 1011, welcomed a Deputation from PGLA into the Lodge for the purpose of the Annual Visitation. The Deputation was headed by SPGM Bro. William Raeside and included RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and DPGM Bro. Robert Little. A second degree was carried out before the Official Visitation took place when the Lodge was given a clear minute. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers then presented PM Bro. Thomas Kerr Patrick with the Honorary Provincial Grand Rank of Standard Bearer.
The Annual PGLA Visitation to Lodge Royal Arch Maybole No.198 took place on 20 March, with DPGM Bro. Robert Little heading the Deputation. The Deputation was welcomed into the Lodge by IPM Bro. Brian Speirs. A second degree was conferred on one candidate, thereafter the Lodge was granted a clear minute.
PGLA visited Lodge St. Thomas Kilwinning No.433 on 21 March 2012. The Deputation headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers was welcomed in to the Lodge by RWM Bro. Colin Bunyan. Included in the Deputation was Brother John Henderson, RWPGM designate of the PGL of Galloway. The RWPGM was delighted to present Bro. Hugh Hainey, a MM of 433, with a diploma to mark 70 years service within the Craft.
The RWPGM attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge Loudoun (Kilwinning) No. 51 on Tuesday 27 March 2012, RWM Brother Stefan Bain presiding. Lodge Robert Burns No.440 Baillieston, headed by RWM Brother Raymond Dow conferred a Mark Master Mason Degree which was enjoyed by all present.
On Tuesday 13 March a Deputation from the PGLA headed by SPGM Bro William Raeside, PGSW Bro. Duncan Fenwick, Acting PGJW Bro. Duncan Stanners, Acting PGDOC Bro. Derek Welsh and PPGSW Bro. William Burgess visited Lodge Burns Dundonald No.1759 where they witnessed an excellent Fellowcraft Degree carried out by the Brethren of the Lodge. The acting candidate for the evening was Bro. Alastair McKenzie from Lodge Dalry Blair No.290. After the degree SPGM Bro. William Raeside granted the Lodge a clear minute. An hour or so was spent in Harmony with the Brethren and visitors of 1759.
RWM Bro. William Harper welcomed RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers into Lodge Prestwick No. 1060 on 8 March 2012. A deputation from Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 were then welcomed into the Lodge and conferred a Second Degree.
On 13 March 2012, DPGM Bro. Robert Little headed a Deputation into Lodge Loudoun (Kilwinning) Newmilns No.51 for their annual visitation. After being welcomed into the Lodge by RWM Bro. Stefan Bain, and witnessing a second degree, DPGM Bro. Robert Little Granted Lodge LKN 51 a clear minute.
On 15 March 2012, Lodge Fergusson St. James No. 566 received their Annual visit by the PGLA. RWM Bro. Kenny Parker welcomed the Deputation headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers. After conferring a 3rd Degree, the Lodge was given a clear minute.
On 7 March 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge St. Peter Galston No.331. After being welcomed into the Lodge by RWM Bro. Liam Stewart and the completion of the business, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers received Honorary Membership of Lodge St. Peter. Bro. Andrew Carnochan presented the RWM with the proceeds of a Burns Supper held on 11 February in the Barr Castle Social Club. The Burns Supper was arranged by Bros Andrew Carnochan (331), George Carnochan (135), friends and family and the Broken Hearts Motorcycle Club. £ 300 to be given to the Adult Training Centre, and £330 to local charities. After the presentations RWM Bro. Liam gave a talk on Masons and Music.
On Tuesday 6 March 2012 the RWPGM, accompanied by SPGM Bro. Sam Peden, attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge Boswell St James No.1011, RWM Alan Brown presiding. A Deputation from Lodge St David (Tarbolton) Mauchline No.133, headed by RWM Bro. Jack Fleming, conferred a FC Degree on one candidate. SPGM Bro. Peden presented Brother Andrew V. Harvey, MM of Lodge Tarbolton (Kilwinning) St James No.135, with his Certificate recognising his completion of the PGL Passport.

On Wednesday 22 February 2012 the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge Irvine Newtown No.1662, Right Worshipful Master Brother William J. Kirkwood presiding. Lodge St John No.497, Catrine, headed by their Right Worshipful Master Brother John McCulloch, conferred a first class second degree on one candidate.
On Thursday 1 March 2012 the RWPGM Brother Archibald Chalmers attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge St Marnock No.109, RWM Brother Steven Shaw presiding. A Deputation from Lodge Irvine Newtown No.1662, headed by RWM Brother William J. Kirkwood, conferred an excellent FC Degree.
The annual visitation to Lodge St John (Kilwinning) Kilmarnock No.22 took place on 2 March 2012. The Deputation was headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and was welcomed into the Lodge by RWM Bro. James Lyle. After witnessing a second degree No.22 were granted a clear minute.
At the Regular meeting of Lodge St James Tarbolton (Kilwinning) No.135 on 17 February 2012, RWM Bro Ian Taylor welcomed a Deputation from PGLA in to the Lodge. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed the Deputation. Lodge Prestwick No.1060 were the visitors on this occasion who conferred a fine second degree on one candidate.
On 16 February 2012, RWM Bro. Munro McLean of Lodge Troon Navigation No.86 welcomed a Deputation from PGLA into the Lodge.  The purpose of the visitation was the Annual Visitation and was headed by SPGM Bro. Drew Rankine, also in the Deputation was RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers. The RWPGM, SPGM and RWM presented 50 year diplomas to Bro. James McIndoe PM and Bro. Hugh Philips PM. The RWPGM then presented a certificate to Bro. Robert Grice of Lodge Tarbolton (Kil) St James No.135 to mark his completion of the PGLA Visitors passport. After witnessing a 1st Degree, SPGM Bro. Drew Rankine, granted a clear minute to the Lodge.
SPGM Bro. Samuel Peden headed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge St. David (Tarbolton) Mauchline No.133 on 14 February 2012 for the Annual Visitation. RWM Bro. Jack Fleming welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge, completed the business of the lodge, then with his conferring team conferred a second degree. The lodge was then granted a clear minute.
The Quarterly Communication of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire was held on Friday 10 February 2012 within the premises of Lodge Troon Navigation No.86. Following the business an appeal was heard which had been discussed in PGL Committee on behalf of the Vanessa Riddle Appeal. It was passed that PGLA would donate £500 while the RWPGM asked Lodges to contact PGLA Secretary in order to inform him of how much each Lodge had raised. A number of RWMs and Brethren from various Lodges intimated how much they had raised. Very quickly a sum just short of £3000 was donated by PGL and the Daughter Lodges. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers presented a certificate to mark the completion of the PGLA Visitors passport to PM Robert Hunt of Lodge Bridgeton and Glasgow Shamrock and Thistle No.175.
On 9 February 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers accompanied by DPGM Bro. Robert Little visited Lodge Dunlop Caledonia No.1408 where they were welcomed by RWM Bro. James Reid and the Brethren. After the business of the evening, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers presented Bro. James Robertson with his 50 year diploma.
On 8 February 2012 RWM Bro. Brian Love of Lodge Ayr St. Paul No.204 welcomed a Deputation from The Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire headed by Depute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Robert little into the Lodge for the Annual Visitation. After witnessing a 2nd Degree, the Lodge was granted a clear minute
On Saturday 4 February 2012 Lodge Troon Navigation No.86 celebrated its 250th Anniversary with a Ceremony of Rededication, conducted by the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, in the Walker Halls in Troon. This was followed by a well attended Dinner in the Concert Halls. The RWPGM Brother Archibald Chalmers, ably assisted by PG Chaplain Bro. Rev I. U. Macdonald and acting PGL Director of ceremonies Bro. Stuart Muirhead performed the Ceremony. Musical accompaniment was provided by Brother Liam Stewart, RWM No.331. Before retiring from the Lodge the PGM was enrolled as an Honorary Member of the Lodge. The company at the Dinner was enhanced with the presence of Mr John Duncan, Lord Lieutenant of Ayrshire and Arran and Provost Winifred Sloan of South Ayrshire Council.
On 1 February 2012 Substitute Provincial Grand Master Bro. William Raeside led the Deputation from PGLA into Lodge St. Peter Galston No.331. Right Worshipful Master Bro. Liam Stewart welcomed the Deputation, which included Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Archibald Chalmers, into the Lodge for the Annual Visitation. After witnessing a 2nd degree, SPGM Bro. William Raeside gave 331 a clear minute.
On 26 January 2012, RWM Bro. William Harper welcomed a Deputation from PGLA into Lodge Prestwick No.1060. The Deputation was headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers. A further Deputation from Lodge Wallace St. Hugh No.1212 was admitted, this Deputation was headed by RWM Bro. William Crate who then claimed the Travelling Mallet. After the business was complete, RWPGM delivered a short talk on Masonry, thereafter the RWM of Lodge Girvan St. John’s No.237 delivered a talk on the various aspects of the RNLI. Lodge Prestwick then donated £100.00 to the funds of the RNLI.

Lodge Royal Blues No.399 held a rededication ceremony carried out by PGLA on 25 January 2012. This was to celebrate the upgrading of the building with new lighting, redecoration and in particular the addition of Masonic emblems around the walls of the Temple. The work was carried out under the guidance of Bro. Colin Hunter McQueen along with an enthusiastic team who have given the Lodge a new lease of life. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers led a fine Deputation in to the Lodge which included PPGM Bro. Adam Cunningham, DPGM Bro. Robert Little and SPGM Bro. Sam Peden. PGL Chaplain Bro. Rev. Iain U. Mcdonald led the ceremony assisted by the RWPGM. Present at that meeting was a Deputation of Several American Brethren. There was Burns Supper held after the meeting. An excellent night both in the Lodge and afterwards at the Harmony.

Lodge St David (Tarbolton) Mauchline No.133 held their AGM on 24 January 2012. A Deputation from the PGLA was received headed by Past Provincial Grand Master Bro. Adam Cunningham. Also in the Deputation was DPGM Bro. Robert Little and SPGM Bro. Sam Peden. After the business of the evening was complete, acting PGL DoC Bro. Stuart Muirhead presented Bro. William McEwan PM and Bro. William Milligan PM. PPGM Bro. Adam then spoke on the 100 years service that these two Brethren had given to the Craft. Thereafter each was given a 50 year jubilee certificate and a small presentation from the Lodge. RWM Bro. John McCulloch of lodge St. John No.497 was then presented to the Brethren and honored for his contribution and zeal for the Craft by having honorary membership of Lodge St. David conferred upon him. A fine evening was then rounded off in harmony with fine hospitality dispensed by the Brethren of 133.
On 3 January 2012, RWM Bro. Alan Buntain of Lodge St. John (Kilwinning) Largs, No. 173 welcomed a small Deputation from PGLA, headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers into the Lodge. PM Bro. William Kirkpatrick and a team of Office-bearers then conferred a Mark Degree on two candidates.
