On Saturday 21 February 2009 the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archie Chalmers headed a Deputation of 23 members of Provincial Grand Lodge into Lodge St John (Kilwinning) Kilmarnock No.22 on the occasion of the Lodge's Annual Installation. Past Provincial Grand Master Brother Adam Cunningham, Substitute Provincial Grand Masters Brothers Drew Rankine and Neville Clark as well as Provincial Grand Secretary Brother Robert Stewart supported the Deputation. Right Worshipful Master Brother John O'Neil of Lodge St Marnock No.109, Right Worshipful Master Brother Stewart Hamilton of Lodge St Andrew No.126 and Right Worshipful Master Brother Gary Mitchell of Lodge St Clement Riccarton (Kilwinning) Kilmarnock No.202 were also present. Brother Paul James Parker was duly Installed as Right Worshipful Master by Past Masters Brother William Raeside and Brother David Murray. This is the Lodge's 275th Anniversary Year.

The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master led a Deputation of 19 members of Provincial Grand Lodge into Lodge St Matthew Kilwinning No.549 on Saturday 7 February 2009 for the purpose of witnessing the Installation of Brother Frank John Hill as the new RWM.
Brother Frank was Installed by his father, Brother Gordon Hill PM, assisted by Brother. Matt Milligan PM and Brother William McBride PM. SPGM Brother Neville Clark spoke on behalf of PGL within the Lodge room and SPGM Brother William Raeside replied on behalf of Grand Lodge and Provincial Grand Lodge at the Dinner. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master invited the Grand Superintendent of the Provincial Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Ayrshire, Brother James Hodge and his Depute, Brother David Park, to retire with the Provincial Grand Lodge Deputation at the close of the Meeting.

The Installation of Lodge Dunlop Caledonia No. 1408 was held on Friday 12 December 2008. Unfortunately RWM Elect Bro. Fraser Craig was injured in an accident the previous day and was unable to attend and be installed. However the Office-Bearers were installed and the Dinner and speeches went ahead with the RWPGM as Toast Master. SPGM Bro. William Steele spoke on behalf of the GLS and of PGLA. Installing Masters were Bro. Robert Hart PM 1408 and Bro. Hugh Gilbert PM 1408.

Bro. James McKinstry was installed as RWM of Lodge St Thomas Kilwinning Dalmellington No. 433 on Saturday 6 December 2008. SPGM Drew Rankine and SPGM Neville Clark headed the PGLA deputation. The RWPGM replied to the toast to the GLS and the PGLA. Bro. Robert McKinstry PM Secretary, was presented with a Distinguished Service Diploma by the RWPGM. Bro. Robert has been the provider of catering services to the Lodge ever since he joined over 20 years ago. This was a great surprise to Brother Robert as he is the Lodge Secretary, the brethren having obtained the Diploma by other means.

On Friday 21 November the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master attended the Installation of Bro.
John Fullarton as Right Worshipful Master of Lodge Neptune Kilwinning No.442. Past Master Charles Pllu who was the Right Worshipful Master over 40 years ago was the main Installing Master, ably assisted by Past Master R J Clements. There was a good attendance of Brethren including Substitute Provincial Grand Master Brother William Steele and Substitute Provincial Grand Master Brother William Raeside. The Installation ceremonial was to the usual high standard of Lodge Neptune. At the close of the Lodge a festive dinner was enjoyed by many of the Brethren.

On Saturday 29 November 2008 the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master attended the Installation of Bro. James Dempster as Right Worshipful Master of Lodge Irvine St Andrew No.149. The ceremony of Installation was of a very high standard and enjoyed by all present. The Deputation from Provincial Grand Lodge was headed by Substitute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Drew C. Y. Rankine.
The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master then travelled on down to Crosshill to witness the Installation of Bro. Donald James MacDonald as Right Worshipful Master of Lodge Wallace St Hugh No.1212. Once again the ceremonial work was of a high standard.
Before closing the Lodge the newly installed Right Worshipful Master invited Brother Peter Ogg, Past Master No.11, Honorary Member No. 1212, into the Lodge to thank him for acting as Tyler for a good number of years. He also thanked Bro. Jim Colville Past Master who had retired as Secretary after a combined service of 28 years in that office. At the dinner which followed the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master replied on behalf of Grand Lodge and Provincial Grand Lodge. |

The Installation of The RWM and Office Bearers of Lodge the Bonnie Doon No.565 was held in Patna on 25 Oct 08. Bro. Thomas Adams was installed as RWM. The Installation was attended by a Deputation from the PGLA headed by RWPGM Archibald Chalmers. Also in the deputation was Depute PGM from Lanarkshire Upper Ward Bro Tom Millar. The Deputation was officially headed by SPGM Bro. Neville Clark. The Installing Masters were Bro. William Fergusson PM, Bro. David Fullarton PM, Bro. James Young PM and Immediate Past Master Bro. Gordon Fergusson.
