On 1 February 2013, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and DPGM Bro. Robert Little attended the Installation of Elected Office-bearers of PGL Renfrewshire West. RWPGM Bro. James Miller welcomed the Deputation from Sister Provinces headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers. Included in the Deputation were representatives from Ayrshire, Dunbartonshire, Glasgow, Lanarkshire Middle Ward and Stirlingshire. This was the last visit outside the Province for RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and the last communication which RWPGM Bro. James Miller would officiate at. At the close of the meeting a meal was enjoyed by the Brethren, after which RWPGM Bro. James Miller presented the annual PGL RW award for outstanding Citizen. This year the recipient was the local Tourist Board who provide assistance and information to visitors from the Cruise Ships.
On 26 January 2013, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers, Bro. George Reid and Bro. Stewart Cruickshank attended the Annual Installation of elected Office-bearers of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Dunbartonshire. RWPGM Bro. John McCormack welcomed the Deputation from the Sister Provincial Grand Lodges, which RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed. After the Installation, a meal and Harmony was enjoyed by all. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers proposed the Toast to the PGL of Dunbartonshire.
On 11 January 2013, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited PGL of Perthshire East. RWPGM Bro. Ronnie Forbes welcomed the Deputation from the visiting Sister Provinces headed by RWPGM Bro. Andrew McKinnon of Stirlingshire, with the Provinces of Perthshire West, Fife & Kinross, Stirlingshire and Ayrshire being represented. RWPGM Bro. Ronnie Forbes then installed his Elected Office Bearers.
On 22 December, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge St. John No. 187, Carluke for their Annual Installation. After being welcomed into the Province of Lanarkshire Upper Ward by RWPGM Bro. Tom Millar, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers joined the Deputation headed by PPGM Bro. William Langsborough. RWPGM Bro. Tom Davidson of Lanarkshire Middle Ward was also in attendance.
On 12 November, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers attended the Annual Installation of The Trades House of Glasgow Lodge No.1241, where Bro. Terry Stoddart was installed as RWM. The Most Worshipful Grand Master Mason, Grand Secretary and 5 Provincial Grand Masters were present including the RWPGM of Glasgow, Bro. Alistair Henderson. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers delivered the Toast to the Lodge.
On Wednesday 31t October 2012 the RWPGM Brother Archie Chalmers attended the Annual Installation Meeting of Lodge The Kings Park No.1386 and installed the Office-bearers. RWPGM of Renfrewshire East Brother John S. Miller, installed Brother Rev Robert Craig as Master. Brother Rev Craig is also Junior Grand Chaplain-elect of Grand Lodge.
The annual BBQ at Marcus Humphrey House was held on 2 September. PM Bro. Duncan Stanners and RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers presented the cheque for the House funds from the Freemasons of Ayrshire.
On 24 August 2012RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge Douglas, East Kilbride No.1557. After being welcomed into the Province of Renfrewshire East, by RWPGM Bro. John Miller, the PGLRE Deputation was welcomed into the Lodge by RWM Bro. Andrew Findlay, thereafter a the Mark ceremonial was enjoyed by all.
On 20 August, PGL Kilwinning held their Summer Communication. RWPGM Bro. David Bloomfield welcomed a very large Deputation from a large number of Provinces into the Communication. The Deputation included a number of members of PGLA including RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers. The Deputation was headed by RWPGM Perthshire East, Bro. Ronald Forbes. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers presented the PGLA Fly and Bait Fishing Trophy to Bro. David Kirk, RWM Mother Kilwinning.
On 10 August, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers, Bro. George Reid and Bro. Stewart Cruickshank were invited to join the Deputation from PGL Glasgow on a visit to Lodge Commercial No. 360. The RWPGM of Glasgow, Bro. Alistair Henderson and the Deputation were welcomed by RWM Bro. John McGunnigle, and then a Mark degree was enjoyed by all.
On 27 July RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers; Bro. George Reid; Bro. Iain Gemmell and Bro. Stewart Cruickshank visited Lodge Barnes o' Clyde, No.1018 at the request of The RWPGM of Dunbartonshire, Bro. John McCormack. All joined the deputation from PGL Dunbartonshire. RWM Bro. Fred McKelvie welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge which was almost at capacity. All present witnessed a 3rd degree. On 28 July 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers attended the July Communication of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Dunbartonshire held in Dumbarton. RWPGM Bro. John McCormack gave a warm welcome to our RWPGM and Standard Bearer.
On 13 July 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers attended the Annual Installation of Lodge Randolph, Clarkston No.1434. Bro. Archie Hoey was Installed as RWM.
On 9 July 2012 RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers, Bro. George Reid and Bro. Stewart Cruickshank were invited by RWPGM Bro. Alistair Henderson of Glasgow to join his Deputation on a visit to The Glasgow Star Lodge No.354. RWM Bro. Ian McLean welcomed the Deputation and then invited a Deputation of Reigning Masters to confer a 1st degree on one candidate.
On 5 July 2012 RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers, Bro. George Reid and Bro. Stewart Cruickshank were invited by RWPGM of Glasgow Bro. Alistair Henderson to join his Deputation on a visit to The Caledonian Railway Lodge No.354. RWM Bro. Colin Hutton welcomed the Deputation and then invited a Deputation from the Glasgow Star Lodge No. 219 headed by RWM Bro. Ian McLean to confer a second degree on Bro. Alan Hutton.
On 30 June 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers, DPGM Bro. Robert Little, Bro. Stewart Cruickshank and as part of the Grand Lodge of Scotland, Bro. James Bell and Bro. Sam Peden attended the Installation of RWPGM Bro. Rev. Andrew E. Paterson and his Commissioned Office-bearers in the Province of Fife and Kinross.
On Tuesday 12 June 2012 the RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers, accompanied by DPGM Bro. Robert Little, SPGM Bro. Sam Peden, PG Bard Bro. William McIntosh and PG Standard-bearer Bro. Stewart Cruickshank, attended the Regular Communication of PGL Glasgow, RWPGM Bro. Alistair Henderson presiding. The Deputation was very warmly welcomed into the Province and enjoyed witnessing the business of the evening. RWPGM Bro. Chalmers presented the PGM and the PGL with copies of the "Extracts from the Minute Books of the PGL of Ayrshire" to mark the occasion. At the close of the meeting PGL Glasgow presented two cheques to Charity.
On 9 June 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers, DPGM Bro. Robert Little and Bro. Stewart Cruickshank, attended the Installation of RWPGM Bro. Ronnie Forbes and his Commissioned Office-bearers of The Province Perthshire East. The Installation was carried out by The MWGMM Bro. Charles Iain R. Wolrige Gordon of Esslemont and other members of Grand Lodge. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers headed the Deputation of the Heads of the Sister Provinces and also Proposed the Toast to the Provincial Grand Lodge of Perthshire East.
On 9 June 2012. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and Bro. Stewart Cruickshank joined a Deputation from the PGL of Glasgow headed by RWPGM Bro. Alistair Henderson on a visit to The Bridgeton and Glasgow Shamrock and Thistle Lodge No.275. The Deputation was welcomed by RWM Bro. James Liddell. Lodge Langside No. 955 headed by RWM Bro. Tom Logue conferred a 3rd degree on one candidate.
To celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, Lodge Greenock Kilwinning No.XII, held a special meeting. At the Masonic part of the evening, Bro. Kenneth C. MacDougall PM welcomed a Deputation from The Provincial Grand Lodge of Renfrewshire West headed by RWPGM Bro. James Miller. The Deputation was enhanced with RWPGM’s Bro. Archibald Chalmers (Ayrshire) and Bro. Alistair Henderson (Glasgow) together with Commissioned and elected Office-bearers from these two Provinces and Renfrewshire East. After the Lodge was closed Guy Clark, Lord Lieutenant of Renfrewshire and Provost  Robert Moran, were introduced to the meeting. Bro. Alan D. Beck WSW of No.XII, provided the company with songs with the company joining in for the chorus. PM Bro. Ian White, gave a talk on the Shaw Statutes and No.XII. Guy Clark, Lord Lieutenant of Renfrewshire, entertained the meeting with his role as Lord Lieutenant and the Jubilee. RWPGM Bro. James Miller commented on the evening and PM Bro. Kenneth C. MacDougall made the closing remarks.
On 6 June 2012 RWPGM of Glasgow, Bro. Alistair Henderson, headed a Deputation into Lodge St. Vincent, Sandyford No.553. The Deputation was welcomed into the Lodge by RWM Bro. Billy Humphries. Included in this Deputation was the RWPGM of Ayrshire Bro. Archibald Chalmers. A 1st degree by visiting RWMs was enjoyed by all. At the close of the meeting those who waited, were served an enjoyable buffet at the end of which, RWPGM Bro. Alistair Henderson presented charity cheques on behalf of the Freemasons of Glasgow to The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice, received by Heather Manson Capital Appeal Manager and Momentum, received by Sue Norman, Fundraising Manager. Both recipients gave their thanks.
The Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross held their Annual Divine Service at St. Serf’s Church, Lochgelly on 27 May 2012. The service was conducted by Rev. Bro. Andrew E. Paterson, Depute Provincial Grand Master and RWPGM Bro. Thomas Bradley carried out the reading and vote of thanks. DPGM Bro. Robert Little and Bro. Stewart Cruickshank represented the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire.
On 24 May 2012, Lodge Inverkip Ardgowan No.1425 held a special meeting. Right Worshipful Master Bro. James Livingston (Depute Provincial Grand Master of Renfrewshire West) welcomed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Renfrewshire West headed by Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. James Miller. Also in the deputation was Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master of Ayrshire Bro. Archibald Chalmers. A second degree was conferred on one candidate.
On 18 May 2012, the Provincial Grand Lodge of Renfrewshire East held their second Education Dinner in the premises of Lodge Houston St. Johnston No. 242. The RWPGM Bro. John Miller welcomed all to the dinner. The visitors included MWGMM Bro. Charles I. R. Wolrige Gordon of Esslemont. MWGMM of Ireland Bro. George Dunlop, RWPGMs of Ayrshire, Bro. Archibald Chalmers; Glasgow, Bro. Alistair Henderson; Kilwinning, Bro. David Bloomfield; and Renfrewshire West, Bro. James Miller. After dinner, the principle speaker was the Most Worshipful Grand Master of Ireland, George Dunlop who gave a paper on Masonry in Ireland and some of the steps being taken. MWGMM of Scotland Charles I. R. Wolrige Gordon of Esslemont, gave a short reply, and after questions SPGM Bro. Neil Fraser gave the vote of thanks.
On 4 May 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers, DPGM Bro. Robert Little and SPGM Bro. William Steele attended the May Communication of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Lanarkshire Upper Ward. The visiting Provincial Grand Lodges headed by RWPGM Bro. Tom Davidson were welcomed by IPPGM Bro. William Landsborough.The elected Provincial Grand Lodge Office-bearers were then installed into Office by IPPGM Bro. William Landsborough who also invested the IPPGSW with his Jewel.

On Saturday 28 April 2012, along with DPGM Bro. Robert Little the RWPGM attended the Installation of Brother John Muirhead as the new PGM of Aberdeen City. This was Ayrshire's first visit to the PGL and all were made most welcome.

The RWPGM attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge Kenmuir No.570 on Wednesday 11 April 2012 where the RWM Brother Gordon Sorbie welcomed a Deputation from Lodge St John (Kilwinning) No.173, headed by RWM Brother Alan Buntain,in to the Lodge to confer a FCD. The RWPGM of Glasgow accompanied Brother Chalmers into the Lodge. In the deputation from "173" was Brother Jimmy Urquhart who was initiated into "570" over fifty years ago.
 
On 1 April 2012 RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and DPGM Bro. Robert Little attended the Spring Divine Service of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Renfrewshire East held in Rutherglen West and Wardlawhill Parish Church. The Service was conducted by Rev. George Murray, with readings by RWPGM Bro. John S. Miller and Provincial Grand Chaplain Pastor Bro. William Shirlaw.
On 31 March, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and DPGM Bro. Robert Little attended the Installation of the RWPGM and his commissioned Office- bearers of PGL of Dunbartonshire. RWPGM Bro. John Reid McCormack and his Commissioned Office-Bearers were installed by the Most Worshipful Grand Master Mason Bro. Charles Iain Robert Wolridge Gordon of Esslemont. At the Harmony which followed, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers replied to the Toast to the Visiting Provinces in his usual competent manner.
The Provincial Grand Lodge of Stirlingshire held their Divine Service on 4 March 2012 at The Allan Church of Scotland, Bannockburn. RWPGM Bro. Andrew McKinnon carried out the readings with the Service and Sermon by Rev. James Landels BD Cert.Min. PGLA was represented by DPGM Bro. Robert Little and PGLA Standard-bearer Bro. Stewart Cruickshank.
On 3 March 2012, the Thistle Lodge of Glasgow No.87 held the annual meeting of the Thistle Lodges of Scotland. This was the 25th meeting and was attended by a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Glasgow headed by RWPGM Bro. Alistair Henderson. Also in the Deputation was the RWPGM of Ayrshire Bro. Archibald Chalmers. The team of Masters conferring a 1st degree were Bro. David Bolling RWM Lodge Thistle No.87 (Glasgow); Bro. Edward McGovern RWM Lodge Thistle No.62 (Dumfries); Bro. Roderick Murray RWM Lodge Thistle No.127 (Stewarton); Bro. Martin Wills RWM Lodge Thistle Operative No.158 (Dundee); Bro. David Topping RWM Lodge Thistle No.270 (West Calder). The candidate for the evening was Bro. Archie Young PM who was initiated at the inaugural meeting of the Thistle Lodges 25 years ago.
On 28 February 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers, SPGM Bro. Samuel Peden and Standard Bearer Bro. Stewart Cruickshank visited Lodge Major Ness No.948. They joined the Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Lanarkshire Middle Ward, headed by RWPGM Bro. Thomas Davidson. RWM Bro. Robert Heggison welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge. SPGM Bro. Stephen Campbell conducted the annual visitation and granted Lodge Major Ness a clear minute. RWPGM Bro. Thomas Davidson then presented four Jubilee Certificates to Bro. Jim Buchanan for 60 years service, Bro. Jack Bain PM for 50 years service, Bro. Jim Beattie PM for 50 years service and Bro. George Kelly RWGJW and PPGM Lanarkshire Middle Ward for 50 years service.
The RWPGM Brother Archibald Chalmers, accompanied by DPGM Brother Robert Little, SPGM Brother Sam Peden and PGLA Office- bearers Brother J Stewart Cruickshank and Brother Duncan Stanners), attended the Annual Installation of Office-bearers of the PGL of Stirlingshire held within Lodge St Servanus No.771 Alva, on Saturday 25 February 2012. The RWPGM Brother Andrew McKinnon was delighted to welcome into his Province a Deputation of 14 reigning PGM's from the Sister PGL's. After the Meeting all enjoyed the hospitality of the host Province.
On 21 February Provincial Grand Lodge of Kilwinning held their Annual Installation of Office Bearers. RWPGM Bro. David Bloomfield welcomed the visiting Provincial Grand Lodges headed by RWPGM Bro. Tom Bradley of Fife and Kinross. The installation of Office-bearers was conducted by DPGM Bro. Tom Woods. The PGLA Deputation was headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers.
On Friday 3 February 2012, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and DPGM Bro. Robert Little attended the Annual Communication of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Renfrewshire West at Greenock. Brother William O. Lothian was presented with his Past SPGW's jewel by the RWPGM Bro. James W. Miller.
The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers attended the Installation of Brother David A. Kirk as Master of the Mother Lodge on Saturday 16 December 2011. Because of the Installation at Prestwick he had to leave to attend the Installation at No. 1060, leaving Substitute Provincial Grand Master Brother William Steel to represent the Province for the remainder of the Meeting.
On 1 December 2011, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers attended the Installation at Lodge Renfrew County Kilwinning No.370 in the Province of East Renfrew, where PM Chris Kerr was installed as RWM for the second time.  The Deputation from PGL Renfrewshire East was headed by SPGM Bro. Neil Fraser.
On Tuesday 22 November 2011 there took place an historic Degree at The Mother Lodge of Scotland. Mr John Stewart Rennie was Initiated into the Craft at the hands of the RWM of Lodge Mother Kilwinning, Brother John Duncan; the RWPGM of Kilwinning, Brother David C. Bloomfield and the RWPGM of Ayrshire, Brother Archibald Chalmers. Prior to 1983 the duties of the three aforementioned Brethren would all have been fulfilled by one brother. The Degree was conferred before a capacity attendance and greatly appreciated by everyone in present. Perhaps this occasion might not happen again.............
Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers attended the Annual Installation of Lodge Kelburne No.459 in Millport on 19 November 2011 in the company of the Brother Douglas Craig, Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master of Argyll and the Isles and Brother Donald S. Bannatyne, Substitute Provincial Grand Master of Argyll and the Isles. Brother Andrew Gourley PM of Lodge St John No.173 in Largs was one of the Installing Masters.
On Sunday 6 November 2011, Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Archibald Chalmers, Depute Provincial Grand Master Bro. Robert Little and Provincial Grand Junior Deacon Bro. Robert McCroskie attended the Annual Divine Service of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Glasgow held within Sherbrooke St Gilbert's Church. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master of Glasgow Bro. Alistair Henderson welcomed everyone present, who all enjoyed a wonderful Service conducted by Bro. Rev Gordon Armstrong Substitute Provincial Grand Master and Bro. Rt Rev Idris Jones Provincial Grand Chaplain.
The Provincial Grand Lodge of Galloway held their Summer Communication on17 September 2011. This was their AGM and Installation of Office-bearers.  RWPGM Brother James Smithers welcomed the Brethren from Sister Provincial Grand Lodges headed by PPGM Brother George Preston.
On Saturday 10 September 2011 the RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers attended the 275th Anniversary Meeting of Lodge Old St John No.21 in Ravenstruther Hall, RWM Bro. Andrew C. Scott presiding. The Ceremony of Re-Dedication was conducted by RWPGM Bro. Thomas P. Millar and his Senior and Junior PG Chaplains of Lanarkshire Upper Ward. RWM Bro. Liam Stewart of Lodge St Peter No.331 officiated at the Organ. PG Secy Bro. Robert Stewart and PGL Office-bearer Bro. J S Cruickshank were also present. There was a good representation from Ayrshire from Lodges No.331 and No.565.
On Sunday 4 September 2011, RWPGM Bro. Archie Chalmers accompanied by DPGM Bro. Robert Little, SPGM Bro. William Raeside and PG Standard-bearer Bro. J S Cruickshank attended the Annual Divine Service of Lanarkshire Upper Ward held in Carnwath Parish Church. The Service was conducted by Bro. Rev James Allardyce a MM of Lodge St Thomas No.306, Larkhall. There was an excellent turnout of visiting Provincial Grand Lodges to support RWPGM Bro. Thomas P. Millar.
On 26 August 2011, a small Deputation from PGLA headed by RWPGM Brother Archibald Chalmers were invited by RWPGM Brother Tom Leckenby of PGL of Dunbartonshire to to enter Lodge Leven St. John No. 170 with the Deputation from PGL Dunbartonshire.

RWM Brother Frederick Kennedy welcomed both PGM's and the Deputation into the Lodge, presented two fifty year diplomas and then conferred a second degree.
On Friday 19 August 2011 the RWPGM, Brother Archibald Chalmers, accompanied by Brother Stewart Cruickshank, attended the regular Meeting of The Caledonian Railway Lodge No.354 in Glasgow. The RWPGM of Glasgow, Brother Alistair Henderson was present with a large Deputation from his PGL. The RWM Brother David Shankland welcomed the Deputation and expressed his appreciation of the informal visit. Lodge Southern Cross No.1243 then conferred a EA Degree upon one candidate. A pleasant evening was spent enjoying the Lodge hospitality.
On Wednesday 17 August 2011, RWPGM Bro. Thomas Leckenby (Dunbartonshire) headed a Deputation into Lodge Cochno No. 1304, included in this Deputation was the RWPGM of Ayrshire Bro. Archibald Chalmers, RWPGM Perthshire West Bro. John Brockie and RWPGM Glasgow Bro. Alistair Henderson. After being welcomed by RWM Bro. Duncan McFarlane, all present enjoyed a 1st degree.
On 16 August 2011, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and a number of of Commissioned and non Commissioned Office-bearers visited the Summer Communication of PGL Kilwinning. The Deputation of Sister PGLs, headed by RWPGM Bro. James Smithers of Dumfriesshire was welcomed by  RWPGM Bro. David Bloomfield. After the business was completed, a Deputation from Lodge Brigantes No.9734 English Constitution, headed by RWM Bro. Geoff Waters demonstrated a second degree.
The RWPGM, accompanied by several PGL Office-bearers, attended the Regular Quarterly Communication of the Province of Dunbartonshire on Saturday 30 July 2011 in Dumbarton. RWPGM Brother Thomas K. Leckenby welcomed the Deputation from Sister Provinces which included the PGM's of Perthshire West, Argyll and the Isles, Ayrshire and headed by Renfrewshire East. After the Communication the Brethren enjoyed the Hospitality of Brother Leckenby.
On Saturday 23 July 2011 the RWPGM, Brother Archibald Chalmers, attended s Special Meeting of Lodge Earraghaidheal No.1822 in Connel Village Hall, Argyll. IPM Brother Leonard Boden presiding over a Lecture and a Masonic Quiz both of which were enjoyed by the brethren assembled. The RWPGM of Argyll and the Isles, Brother Douglas Craig, Substitute PGM Brother Donald Bannatyne and several other PGL Office-bearers were also in attendance. Brother J S Cruickshank PGL of Ayrshire accompanied our PGM.
On 21 July RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge Water of Leith No.1267. RWM Bro. Tom Stott welcomed the many visitors into the Lodge and then welcomed a Deputation from PGL Edinburgh headed by RWPGM Bro. Maurice Wilson MBE. This Deputation included RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers, RWPGM Bro. Tom Millar (Lanarkshire Upper Ward) and RWPGM Bro. Ronald Forbes (Perthshire East) and in his PM's Regalia RWPGM Bro. John Brockie (Perthshire West). On 11 July 2011 Lodge The Glasgow Star No.219 held a Reigning Masters Degree. RWM Bro. Keith Hodgson welcomed all into the Lodge and then welcomed the Deputation of Reigning Masters headed by RWM Bro. Tom Tracey of St. Mark's Lodge at Glasgow No.102. A Deputation from PGL Glasgow, headed by RWPGM Bro Alistair Henderson, was then welcomed into the Lodge. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers was included in the PGL Deputation.
On 8 July 2011, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers accompanied the Deputation from Renfrewshire East, headed by DPGM Bro. John S. Millar, into the Installation of Lodge Randolph Clarkston No.1434. The Deputation and all other Brethren were welcomed by RWM Bro. James Renfrew. Thereafter PM's Bro. William (Bud) Gauld and Bro. Johnny Gauld installed Thomas Mulholland, and his Office-bearers.

On Wednesday 6 July 2011, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge Airdrie St. John No.166. RWM Bro. John Lang welcomed the visitors and a Deputation of 3 Substitute Provincial Grand Masters of Lanarkshire Middle Ward who had invited our PGM to accompany them into the Lodge. The Deputation was headed by Bro. Andrew Miller with Bro. Norman Carnegy and Bro James Ferguson. A Deputation from The Operative Lodge of Airdrie No. 203 headed by RWM Bro. James Callander was received and then carried out a second degree on one candidate.

Just before the summer recess on Friday 22 April 2011 at the Mark Meeting of Lodge Greenock St John's No. 175, Right Worshipful Master Bro. Edward McNeil Ross presented Bro. Alexander Galbraith PM with a Distinguished Service Diploma on behalf of the Lodge. Bro. Galbraith was initiated on 23 September 1966. He held office as Right Worshipful Master from 1987 to 1989 and again from 1990 to 1991. The surprise presentation was not an easy task as Bro. Galbraith (ex-Strathclyde's finest) normally has his finger on the pulse. The RWM and Brethren decided the best course of action, for tying down a date before the recess, was to ask him to confer the Mark charge. The plan being set, he delivered a wonderful charge and subsequently was quite rightly presented with his Diploma for all his sterling work for the Lodge. With so many other Masonic duties, outwith his mother lodge, Bro. Galbraith, will always be found there most Friday meetings. Congratulations from the RWM and Brethren of Lodge Greenock St John's No.175.
The picture on the left is quite unique and shows the achievement of three Brethren who are very well known within Masonic circles in the Province of Ayrshire. It is believed that it is the first time in the history of the Province of Renfrewshire West that Brethren from the same Lodge are holding Senior Warden rank in a Daughter Lodge, Provincial Grand Lodge and of Grand Lodge. Indeed it may be the first time or one of the few times in the Scottish Craft that such an achievement has been made. This picture was recently taken of them in their respective regalia within the Grand Lodge of Scotland. The Brethren are all members of Lodge Greenock St Johns No.175. The Installation of RWPGM Bro. Tom Davidson and his Commissioned Office-bearers took place at Hamilton College and Hamilton Park Race Course on 18 June 2011. The Ceremony was conducted by Depute Grand Master Mason Bro. Hugh Bryson and Grand Director of Ceremonies Bro. Ramsay McGhee. The Deputation of Sister Provinces was headed by RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers who also proposed the toast to the Province of Lanarkshire Middle Ward.
On 17 June RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge Regal No. 1422. RWM Bro. Jim Gold Jnr. welcomed the visitors into the Lodge and thereafter welcomed a Deputation of Reigning Masters headed by RWM Bro. David Kennedy of Lodge Neptune No. 419. The Deputation then conferred a first degree.
On 14 June RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge Prince of Wales No.426 in the Province of Renfrewshire East. The visitors were welcomed into the Lodge by RWM Bro. Frank Slack, who then welcomed a Deputation from The Lodge of Erskine No. 1566 headed by RWM Bro. Robert Bell, who along with his Brethren, conferred the Third Degree on one candidate.
On Saturday 11 June 2011 the RWPGM, accompanied by DPGM Brother Robert Little, travelled north to Alness Ross-shire, to witness the Installation of Brother William Ross as the new Provincial Grand Master of Ross and Cromarty. The ceremonial was conducted by the MWGMM himself. As always, the PGLA were made most welcome amongst the Brethren.
On 10 June 2011, The Bridgeton & Glasgow Shamrock and Thistle Lodge No. 275 held a regular meeting. RWM Brother James Liddell welcomed a Deputation from Lodge Langside No. 955 headed by RWM Brother Tom Logue. A Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Glasgow headed by Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Alistair Henderson was then welcomed into the Lodge, the Deputation included Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers. Lodge Langside then carried out a third degree on one candidate.
The RWPGM attended the Regular Communication of The Grand Lodge of Scotland held on Thursday 9 June 2011. Brother Tom Davidson became the new PGM of Lanarkshire Middle Ward that day. Ayrshire and Lanarkshire Middle Ward have always enjoyed good relationships and will continue to do so under the leadership of Brother Tom.
On Sunday 29 May 2011 the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, accompanied by DPGM Bro. Robert Little and PGL Standard-bearer Stewart Cruickshank, travelled to Leuchars in Fife to attend the Divine Service of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross. The service was held within St Athernase Church with the Sermon preached by DPGM Bro. Rev Andrew Paterson. Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Tom Bradley made them very welcome indeed. On the way home they called in at Neilston and attended the Joint Divine Service of Lodge Union and Crown No.307 and Thistle and Crown No.1167 held in Neilston Parish Church. The service was conducted by Bro. Rev Robert Craig MM of 1167. Once again they were made most welcome, this time by the DPGM of Renfrewshire East Bro. John S. Miller.
The RWPGM attended a meeting of the Mother Lodge on Tuesday 24 May 2011, RWM Bro. John Duncan presiding over an excellent FCD. The RWPGM of Kilwinning, Bro. David Bloomfield, was also present and introduced a Deputation from the Grand Lodge of Connecticut headed by MWGM Bro. James McWain as well as a Deputation of Brethren from France.
On 20 May 2011, RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers was the guest speaker at the Annual PM's Re-union Dinner at Lodge Nethan St. John No. 1289 in the Province of Lanarkshire Upper Ward. The topic was The Copy Cats.  As usual the talk was well received after which an excellent Buffet was enjoyed by all present.
On 15 May 2011, The Provincial Grand Lodge of Lanarkshire Middle Ward Divine Service took place in Uddingston Old Parish Church, Rev. Fiona McKibbin officiated with Senior Provincial Grand Lodge Chaplain Bro. Rev. Peter Price delivering the Sermon. RWPGM Bro. James L. Jack and RWPGM Designate Bro. Thomas Davidson carried out the readings. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers and DPGM Bro. Robert Little were in attendance.
The RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers attended the 25 year re-dedication of the Temple of Lodge Douglas No. 1557 on Friday 13 May 2011. Bro. Archie was included in the Deputation of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Renfrewshire East, headed by RWPGM Bro. David Reid. RWM Bro. Donald Macready welcomed the Deputation into the Lodge where RWPGM Bro. David Reid carried out the ceremony assisted by his Commissioned Office-bearers including Provincial Grand Chaplain Bro. William Shirlaw.
On 4 April 2011, Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers visited Lodge Sir George Cathcart No. 617 in the Province of Renfrewshire East, to delivery his talk on Brother Sir Alexander Fleming. Substitute Provincial Grand Master Brother Iain McPhee (Renfrewshire East) headed the deputation which was welcomed by Right Worshipful Grand Master Brother Gordon Fleming.
On 2 May 2011 Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Archibald Chalmers visited the Province of Lanarkshire Middle Ward and was introduced into Lodge Old St. John No. 21 by Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Thomas Millar. After being welcomed by Right Worshipful Master Bro. Andrew Scott, Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Archibald Chalmers delivered his talk on Sir Alexander Fleming.
On Saturday 30 April 2011, the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Archibald Chalmers, in the company of DPGM Bro. Robert Little, travelled to Forres to witness the Installation of Bro. Allan J. Lawrence as the new RWPGM of Moray and Nairn. The ceremony was conducted the Most Worshipful Grand Master Mason Bro. Charles Iain Robert Wolrige Gordon of Esslemont.
On 18 April 2011 the RWPGM, along with DPGM Bro. Robert Little, attended the Communication of PGL Renfrewshire East RWPGM Bro. David A Reid welcomed the Deputation from the Sister PGLs including RWPGM of Dunbartonshire Bro. TK Leckenby and Bro. DS Irving PG Secy. PPGM Bro. Andrew L. Tannahill was also in attendance. During the evening PPGM Bro. Frank Johnstone and a team of Brethren gave a dramatised lesson on the Seven Liberal Arts.
On Saturday 16 April 2011 the RWPGM had the pleasure of heading the Deputation of the Sister Provinces into the Annual Communication of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Argyll and the Isles held within Lodge Dunoon Argyll No.335, Dunoon. RWPGM Brother Douglas Craig welcomed the Deputation which comprised of the RWPGM's of Ayrshire, Dunbartonshire (Bro. T K Leckenby), Kilwinning (Bro. D C Bloomfield), Perthshire West (Bro. J S Brockie) and Renfrewshire West (Bro. J W Miller). Substitute PGM Brother Donald Bannatyne installed the non-commissioned office-bearers.
Ayrshire had a very good representation at the Celebrations of The Grand Lodge of Scotland on Saturday 9 April 2011. The MWGMM Bro. Charles Iain Robert Wolrige Gordon of Esslemont, presided over the 100th Anniversary of the Laying of the Foundation Stone of the present Freemasons' Hall. This year is also the 275th Anniversary year of the Formation of Grand Lodge itself. Afterwards the Brethren and Families attended a buffet lunch at Murrayfield Stadium. Presentation was made of a cheque to CHAS bringing the total amount donated by Scottish Freemasons during the past 10 years to £500,000.
On Friday 8 April 2011 the RWPGM, as a PM of Lodge The Kings Park No.1386, attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge Randolph No.1434 in Barrhead. The evening was the Annual Visit by PGL, headed by SPGM Brother Andrew Hosie. The Lodge was Granted a Clear Minute. At the Dinner that followed SPGM Brother Ian McPhee gave an excellent presentation and talk on Alcohol and Drug Addiction.

The RWPGM accompanied by Bro Stewart Cruickshank PM No.204, attended the Joint Divine Service of Lodge Houstoun St Johnstone No.242 and Lodge Craigends No.1042 held on Sunday 3rd April 2011. The Service was held within Lodge No.242 in Johnstone and conducted by PG Chaplain, Pastor Bro. William Shirlaw. This year is the bi-centenary year of Lodge No. 242. RWM Brother Brian Smolarek jnr. presiding.

On Sunday evening of 3 April 2011 the RWPGM and 12 other members of PGL attended the Annual Divine Service of Lodge St Andrew No.126 held in the West Laigh Kirk, Kilmarnock. Rev David Cameron conducted the Service. RWM Bro. Andrew Hamilton presiding.

On Friday 1 April 2011 The Anchor Lodge of Research No.1814 held its Regular Meeting with the Rt Rev John Christie, the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland as its Guest Speaker. After the Dinner which followed there was an opportunity for a Question and Answer session which the Moderator took part in. RWM Brother Alexander Galbraith thanked the Moderator and the Brethren for a most interesting and historic evening. Included in the attendance were Brother Rev Ian Benzie (PG Chaplain Ayrshire), Brother Rev Gordon B Armstrong (Past Grand Chaplain) and Bro Rev David Mitchell (PG Chaplain of Renfrewshire West). Bro A Chalmers (RWPGM Ayrshire) is a member of the Lodge.
On Sunday 13 March 2011 the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, accompanied by Depute Provincial Grand Master Brother Robert Little, attended the Annual Divine Service of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Stirlingshire held in "Sauchie and Coalsnaughton Parish Church", Sauchie. There were 13 Reigning Provincial Grand Masters in attendance including the Provincial Grand Master of Stirlingshire, Brother Andrew McKinnon.

On Friday 25 February 2011 the RWPGM, accompanied by DPGM Bro. Robert Little, SPGW Bro. Duncan Fenwick, Bro. William Dykes and Bro. J Stewart Cruickshank, attended the Annual Communication of the PGL of Dumfriesshire held in Dumfries. The RWPGM Bro. Brian Porteous installed the elective Office-bearers assisted by his PG Secretary.
On Saturday 26th February 2011 the RWPGM, accompanied by DPGM Bro. Robert Little, attended the Annual Communication of the PGL of Stirlingshire held in Falkirk. The RWPGM Bro. Andrew McKinnon installed the elective Office-bearers.

On Sunday 20 February 2011 the RWPGM and DPGM Brother Robert Little attended the Annual Divine Service of the PGL of Renfrewshire East at the invitation of the RWPGM Brother David A. Reid. The service was held in Cathcart Congregational Church and conducted by the PG Chaplain Pastor Bill Shirlaw.
On Tuesday 15 February 2011 the RWPGM, Brother Archibald Chalmers, accompanied by several Office-bearers from PGL of Ayrshire, attended the half yearly Communication of PGL of Kilwinning. The meeting was presided over by RWPGM Brother David C. Bloomfield who also installed his non-commissioned Office-bearers. There were nine reigning PGM's present.
The RWPGM Brother. Archibald Chalmers, accompanied by DPGM Brother Robert Little and PG Chaplain Bro. Rev Ian W Benzie, attended the Annual Communication and Installation of Office- bearers of the PGL of Renfrewshire West at Greenock on Friday 4 February 2011. At the Dinner following the meeting the RWPGM, Brother James W Miller, presented the Inverclyde Schools Wind Orchestra with the Citizen of the Year award in recognition of their contribution to the community.
On Saturday 29 January 2011 the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers, accompanied by Depute Provincial Grand Master Brother Robert little, attended the Regular Communication and Installation of Office-bearers of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross, held in Dunfermline. Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Thomas Bradley in the Chair.
On 14 January 2011 Brethren from Lodge Neptune Kilwinning Saltcoats No 442 travelled to Belfast for the Annual Installation at Lodge T. Hay No. 685 Irish Constitution. Bro. Tommy Burrell PPGSD was installed as Worshipful Master for the second time. The first time being in 1985. Bro Tommy also celebrates 50 years as a member of the Craft.

On Saturday 18 December 2010 the RWPGM attended the Installation of Brother John Duncan as RWM of The Mother Lodge. Amongst the many visitors was the RWM of Lodge St Molios No.774, Brodick, Isle of Arran, Brother Donald Mackay. Also present was the RWPGM of Kilwinning, Brother David C. Bloomfield, the Substitute PGM of Argyll and the Isles Brother Donald Bannatyne and Brother T. Wilson Aitken PM MK0 Grand Bible-bearer of The Grand Lodge of Scotland.
On Saturday 20 November 2010 the RWPGM and 8 others members of PGL Ayrshire attended the Centenary Celebrations of the Laying of the Foundation Stone of the Masonic Premises of Lodge Union and Crown No.307 in Barrhead. The day began with a parade to Bourock Parish Church for a Service of Thanksgiving. The Ceremony of Re- Dedication was conducted by Grand Lodge headed by the MWGMM Bro. Charles I. R. Wolrige Gordon of Esslemont. As always, we were made most welcome by the RWPGM of Renfrewshire East Bro. David A. Reid.




On Sunday 7 November 2010, the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers, Depute Provincial Grand Master Brother Robert Little and Provincial Grand Junior Deacon Brother Robert McCroskie attended the Annual Divine Service of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Glasgow held in Dennistoun New Parish Church. The Service was Conducted by Provincial Grand Chaplain Brother Rt Rev Idris Jones and the Sermon Preached by Substitute Provincial Grand Master Brother Rev Gordon B. Armstrong. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Alistair Henderson read both the Lessons. The Service was very well attended with a good number of Sister Provincial Grand Lodges represented.

On Monday 20 September 2010 the RWPGM, Bro. Archibald Chalmers, attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge Concord No.1341 in Knightswood, Glasgow. The purpose of the occasion was for a Deputation of Provincial Grand Masters to pay a friendly visit to RWM Brother George A. L. McEwan who is a Past PGM of Glasgow. The Deputation consisted of the RWPGM's of Glasgow, Renfrewshire West, Dunbartonshire, Stirlingshire, Lanarkshire Middle Ward and Ayrshire. A surprised but delighted Brother McEwan welcomed the Deputation into his Mother Lodge and thanked them for the gesture. The Brethren present enjoyed an exemplified Master Mason Degree conferred by Lodge Bothwell Brig No.1229.
On Saturday 18 September 2010 the RWPGM Brother Archibald Chalmers attended the Centenary Celebrations of the District Grand Priory of Strathclyde as a guest of the District Grand Prior, Rt Em. Frtr James McK. Pettigrew. The meeting was held in the Ballerup Halls in East Kilbride with the Ceremony conducted by the Most Em. and Rev. Grand Master David A C Niven. Several members of the Order from Ayrshire were also present.
On Saturday 4 September 2010 the RWPGM made an early voyage over to the Isle of Arran for the purpose of presenting Bro. Andrew McCormack MM of Lodge Neptune Kilwinning No.442, with a Jubilee Certificate acknowledging his 61 years in the Craft. RWM Bro. John Corbett and Brethren of Lodge St Molios No.774 opened the Lodge premises for the Deputation. SPGM of Argyll and the Isles, Bro. Donald Bannatyne PM 774, was also present to welcome the PGM. A number of Brethren from Bro. Andrew's Mother Lodge were also in attendance. Although not in any rush to leave the Brethren had to return to the mainland for the Centenary Celebrations of Lodge St John No.173 in Largs that afternoon.

On Tuesday 31 August Lodge Neptune Glasgow No.419, hosted the annual Water Lodges meeting. RWM Bro. William Hepburn welcomed the Deputations from the Water Lodges, Kelvin, Clyde and Troon Navigation. A Deputation from PGL Glasgow was welcomed headed by RWPGM Bro. Alistair Henderson along with RWPGM of Ayrshire Bro. Archibald Chalmers. Provincial Grand Chaplain Bro. Rt. Rev. Dr. Idris Jones dedicated new regalia then RWPGM Bro. Alistair Henderson invested the RWM with the new regalia. A first degree was then conferred on one Bro. Shaun Collins by a degree team from the 4 lodges.

On Saturday 28 August 2010 the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, accompanied by Depute Provincial Grand Master Brother Robert Little, attended the Installation of the new Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master for Perthshire West, Brother John S. Brockie. The Meeting was held in the Victoria Halls, Dunblane, and was conducted by Depute Grand Master Brother Hugh Bryson. At the Dinner afterwards, Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, Brother Chalmers replied to the Toast to the Sister Provincial Grand Lodges.

On 18 August Right Worshipful Master Brother David Peddie, welcomed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Dunbartonshire into Lodge Cochno No 1304. The Deputation was headed by Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Thomas Leckenby, also in the Deputation was the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master of Ayrshire, Brother Archibald Chalmers.

On 17 August, The Provincial Grand Lodge of Kilwinning held their Summer Communication. Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother David Bloomfield welcomed the visitors then welcomed a large Deputation from Sister Provinces headed by Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother David A. Reid (Renfrewshire East). After completion of the business Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers delivered a talk on the life of Bro. Sir Alexander Fleming.

The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master attended the regular meeting of Lodge Mother Kilwinning on Tuesday 10 August 2010 where the Right Worshipful Master Brother John Duncan presided over an excellent rendering of the Master Mason Degree. Brother William Merry Nicol PM Lodge Burns Dundonald No.1759 affiliated to the Lodge on this evening. His late father had joined the Lodge 55 years ago to the meeting night. Brother Chalmers was accompanied by Senior Provincial Grand Warden Brother William Haggarty and Brother Ian Gemmill Provincial Grand Steward. Brother David Bloomfield, Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Kilwinning headed the Deputation. Brother John Torbett Right Worshipful Master of Lodge St Molios No.774, Lamlash, Isle of Arran and Brother Donald S. Bannatyne, PM 774 and a Substitute Provincial Grand Master of Argyll and the Isles were also in attendance.

On Friday 6 August 2010 the RWPGM was a Guest of Lodge Clyde No.408 on the occasion of a Civic Reception granted to the Lodge by Glasgow City Council to mark the Lodges 150th Anniversary. The event was held in the magnificent Glasgow City Chambers in George Square. The RWM of the Lodge, Brother Stewart Leadbetter, the RWPGM Brother Alistair Henderson and Baillie (Bro.) Jim Todd are in the photograph. During the Dinner the PGM and Mrs Chalmers were seated beside Bro. James McMillan, Substitute PGM of Glasgow. A most enjoyable evening.

On Saturday 31 July 2010, Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers accompanied by Substitute Provincial Grand Master Brother Sam Peden, Provincial Grand Senior Warden Brother William Haggerty and Vice President of Stewards Brother Stewart Cruickshank, attended the Quarterly Communication of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Dunbartonshire. The Deputation was welcomed by Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Thomas Leckenby.

On Friday 9 July 2010 the RWPGM attended the Annual Installation of Lodge Randolph, Clarkston No.1434 to witness the Installation of Brother Jim Renfrew as RWM. At the Dinner the RWPGM had the pleasure of replying to the Toast to the Visitors. The RWPGM of Renfrewshire East, Brother David A. Reid, was also in attendance.

The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers, accompanied by Depute Provincial Grand Master Brother Robert Little, attended the Installation of the new Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, Brother John Ferguson Lamb, for Roxburgh, Peebles and Selkirk Shires within Jedburgh Town Hall on Saturday 19 June 2010. The ceremony was conducted by Right Worshipful Depute Grand Master, Bro. Hugh Bryson. Brother James Bell, Worshipful Senior Grand Standard-bearer was also in attendance.
On Wednesday 16 June 2010 the RWPGM attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge St Modan No.985, Taynuilt, near Oban. RWM Brother Angus McFadzean Jnr, presided over a Master Mason Degree conferred upon three candidates, two of whom were his sons. The evening was also the Annual Visitation of the PGL of Argyll and the Isles which was headed by their RWPGM, Brother Douglas Craig. A most enjoyable meeting.
The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, accompanied by Depute Provincial Grand Master Brother Robert Little and Substitute Provincial Grand Master Brother Sam Peden, attended the Installation of Brother Andrew A. McKinnon as PGM of Stirlingshire by the MWGMM on Saturday 12 June 2010. The meeting was held within the premises of Lodge Callendar No.588 (Bro. McKinnon's Mother Lodge) in Falkirk with the Dinner being held within the Dobbie Hall, Larbert. At the Dinner RWPGM Bro Chalmers had the pleasure of Proposing the Toast to the PGL of Stirlingshire.
Following the meeting of Grand Lodge the RWPGM attended the Installation Meeting of Lodge Sir Robert Moray No.1641, Edinburgh, and witnessed Brother Trevor Stewart being Installed as RWM. The IP Grand Master, Brother Sir Archibald Donald Orr-Ewing was present with the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Greece. A Deputation of Provincial Grand Masters were present namely, PGM of Edinburgh, PGM of Fife and Kinross, PGM of Lanarkshire Upper Ward, PGM of Glasgow and the PGM of Ayrshire.
On Friday 4 June 2010 the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, accompanied by Provincial Grand Secretary Brother Robert Stewart, attended the Annual Dinner of Lodge Craigends No.1042, Linwood, Province of Renfrewshire East. The Right Worshipful Master of the Lodge, Brother William Fleming, welcomed both to the Dinner as well as the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master of Renfrewshire East, Brother David A. Reid. After an excellent dinner the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers delivered a talk on Sir Alexander Fleming which was well received by the members present.
On Tuesday the 1 June 2010 the RWPGM attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge Earraghaidheal No.1822 in Connel, near Oban. The RWM Bro. Len Bowden presiding. A Lecture on The Ballot was delivered by the IPM of The Anchor Lodge of Research No.1814, Bro. Gordon Fraser. The evening was also the Annual Visitation of the PGL of Argyll and the Isles which was headed by the PGM Bro. Douglas Craig. The WSW of Lodge 1822 is Bro. Adam McCracken a MM of Lodge St James, Newton-upon-Ayr No.125.
On Sunday 23 May 2010 the RWPGM accompanied by DPGM Brother Robert Little, travelled to Lochgelly to attend the Annual Divine Service of the PGL of Fife and Kinross held in St Serfs Parish Church. Sermon was preached by Brother Rev Andrew Patterson, DPGM. The attendance was presided over by the RWPGM Brother Thomas Bradley.
On Friday 21 May 2010 the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master attended the 6th Annual Past Masters Re-Union dinner of Lodge Nethan St John No.1289 in Kirkmuirhill. The Guest Speakers were Brother Donald Reid (MM of Lodge No. 433) and Brother Iain Shaw (MM Lodge No.175) who delivered an excellent Lecture on Robert W. Service the Bard of the Yukon. Also present was Brother Stewart Cruickshank PM Ayr St Paul No. 204.
On 11 May, the RWPGM was invited to attend Lodge Gleniffer No. 1219. RWM Bro. Campbell Ritchie welcomed a large Deputation comprising Lodges Randolph, Clarkston No.1434, Union and Crown No.307 and Troon Navigation No.86. RWM Bro. Campbell Ritchie then welcomed a Deputation from The PGL of Renfrewshire East Headed by SPGM Bro. Andrew Hosie, and including Past Depute Grand Master Bro. Archibald McGowan, IPPGM Dixon Drye and  RWPGM of Ayrshire Bro. Archibald Chalmers.  PM Bro. William (Bud) H. Gauld then received Honorary Membership of 1219. A second degree was then conferred on one candidate by RWM of Troon Navigation, Bro. Thomas Fergusson and his Office Bearers. After the meeting a harmony to celebrate the Lodges 90th Birthday was held. RWPGM Bro. Archibald Chalmers proposed the Toast to the Lodge and SPGM Bro. Andrew Hosie replied.

On 5 May, 2010, RWPGM Brother Archibald Chalmers, accompanied by DPGM Brother Robert Little, and PGL Secy Brother Robert Stewart, all in their Lodge Stinchar Valley No. 1705 regalia, visited Lodge Partick St. Mary No 117. RWM Brother David Armstrong welcomed all the visitors into the Lodge. After the business was completed, 5 Brethren were offered and accepted Honorary Membership of 117. The five included Brother Murray Hunter WJW and Brother Fred Christie JD of Lodge Stinchar Valley.

The RWPGM, accompanied by SPGM Bro. William Raeside, attended the Annual Divine Service of the PGL of Lanarkshire Middle Ward held within Uddingston Old Parish Church on Sunday 25 April 2010. RWPGM Bro. James L. Jack welcomed a very large attendance of Brethren from the Daughter Lodges of his Province as well as representatives of Sister PGL's including Ayrshire, Glasgow, Kilwinning and Lanarkshire Upper Ward. The Service was conducted by Bro. Rev Peter Price PGL Chaplain with the Sermon preached by the Minister Rev Norman B. McKee. As this was the last Divine Service that the Rev McKee would officiate at owing to his pending retirement the RWPGM, on behalf of the Daughter Lodges and the PGL, presented him with a Gift to mark the occasion. On Saturday 20 March 2010 the RWPGM attended the 275th Anniversary Celebrations of Lodge St John Kilwinning No.28, Kirkintilloch. The Ceremony being conducted by the RWPGM Bro. Thomas K. Leckenby assisted by PG Chaplain Bro. Rev. Mark Johnstone. The RWM Bro. Stuart Sands welcomed the PGM's of Dunbartonshire, Ayrshire, Renfrewshire East, Renfrewshire West and Stirlingshire whose presence added greatly to the occasion.

On Friday 12 March 2010 the RWPGM, accompanied by PGL Secretary and PGVP of Stewards, attended a Regular Meeting of Lodge Nethan St John No.1289 in Kirkmuirhill. RWM Bro. Robert Hunter presided over an excellent EA Degree conferred by Lodge Old St John No.21 headed by IPM Bro. John McEwan. They did not attend as PG Office-bearers and were joined with RWPGM Bro. Tom Miller and PPGM Bro. James MacLean both of Lanarkshire Upper Ward.

On 30 January, PSPGM Brother John Taylor, Brother William MacIntosh and Brother Stewart Cruickshank attended the Annual Installation of the PGL of Renfrewshire East. RWPGM Bro. David Reid welcomed the Deputation from the Sister Provinces headed by RWPGM Bro. Ramsay McGhee. The Installation of Office Bearers was carried out by SPGM Bro. Neil Fraser.
The RWPGM, accompanied by PGL Secretary, attended the Installation of V. Em. Fr. John M. Turner as the new District Grand Prior of Ayrshire on Saturday 30 January 2010. The meeting was held in the Walker Hall, Troon and was conducted by the Grand Master of the Order, the Most Em. & Rev David A. C. Niven. The RWPGM replied on behalf of "The Guests" at the meal that followed. The attendance of PG Lodge at such a meeting can only enhance the "unity" of the several Masonic Orders active in Ayrshire. On Tuesday night, 19 January 2010, the RWPGM attended the Regular Meeting of Lodge Greenock Kilwinning No. XII. the Meeting was held in the Saloon of Greenock Town Hall and was presided over by the RWM Brother Arthur Young. RWPGM Brother James W. Miller was made an Honorary Member of the Lodge thereafter the RWM delivered a Talk on the Songs of Robert Burns, during which he sung the several songs that he referred to.
