THE MASTERS' WALK 2011

On Sunday 25 September 2011 the annual PGLA Masters' Walk set off from the premises of Lodge St Maurs No.1398 in Kilmaurs. Depute Provincial Grand Master Brother Robert Little welcomed all to the walk and Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Archibald Chalmers thanked all who participated. He also thanks Brother Jim Kurth Right Worshipful Master of Lodge St Maurs for the hospitality which Lodge St Maurs had provided. RWM Brother Jim Kurth duly presented all present with a commemorative medal to mark the occasion.

THE MASTERS' WALK 2010

The Annual PGLA Sponsored Walk took place on Sunday 26 September. This year Lodge Darvel 971 hosted the event with a walk through the park and woods close to the Lodge. On the return to the Lodge refreshments were provided by the the Brethren of 971..

THE MASTERS' WALK 2009

The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master joined the Brethren, Ladies, Children and a few well-behaved dogs on Sunday 27 September 2009 for the Annual Provincial Grand Lodge Sponsored Walk.
This years host was Lodge St Peter No.331, the group met at and left from the Barr Castle Social Club. The walk was through the grounds and gardens of Cessnock Castle. The owners, Mr and Mrs Cogley, met us at the entrance to the Castle and provided scones and jam, tea, coffee and juice for everyone in the group.
The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master thanked the owners for the kind welcome and the most generous hospitality. In reply Mr Cogley said that it was a pleasure to allow us to walk through his estate and an added pleasure to give us the treats.
He concluded his address by giving the group a Historical Account of the Castle through the ages. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master also thanks Brother Joe Fitzgerald IPM 331, for making the arrangements with the owners.
The walk was concluded by even more hospitality provided by the local Lodge at the Social Club. A memorable day indeed.
